I don't want to hear more about the Buch trade OR the Miller trade until we give equal time for getting 4 years of 50 pt. Ryan Strome for 25 games of Ryan Spooner, or getting Ryan Lindgren and K'Andre Miller for 11 games of Rick Nash's corpse.

The only thing that counts is the fact that Lindgren and Miller are a key part of this Rangers window, everything else is just a moist wankfest. Every team second guesses trades and draftpicks but what counts is how often you're a contender and the Rangers have been contending for f***ing DECADES post salary cap.
 
And anyone still butthurt because Drury traded their boycrush needs to move the f*** on. We're in the middle of one of the most exciting periods in Rangers history and to keep whining about old trades is pretty f***ing naive.

Trading players is like trading stocks - you win and you lose and all that counts is whether you finish higher than when you started. If you start getting terrified of making a mistake then you're already f***ed and will never win.

Having said that, there is no player available at this TDL that I think moves the needle.

Spooner came in the Nash trade too. Played well for a while then got moved for Strome.

This Board Def has " fans", who root for player success, over team success, to boost their imaginary HF "credibility ".

By significant investment do you mean a player that will be here beyond one year?

I'm predicting the value flyer is Roslovic because he plays Center and RW and can be had for probably around a 4th round pick.

Yes, PPG forwards are totally not a fit in the Top 6 of any forward group… this is banana land stuff.

Cant wait to trade more assets in draft capital plus more to address the holes we have when we couldve just signed Kane (probably for $2 million or less because he wanted to be here) instead of just having to trade for a 3C right now…

Yes, also some significant salary. Rangers have approx. $4.4MM available. One around $1MM and the rest for the significant investment.

they have, saw caps fans on twitter literally arguing the Perreault is just leetching off Leonard. ANd fans of both teams will point out their prospect is bigger/stronger/faster etc and more "projectable"
