I dont mind switching things up to break the slump and based on these lines i dont see one as the true PP1 over the other.

But my god seeing Brodzinki on these units is just painful. I know he has generally been on PP2 to this point, but it’s nauseating to have a guy who handles the puck like a grenade on the ice during with valuable time and space. Drury, please infuse other options at the deadline.
I don't get why Cuylle hasn't gotten any powerplay time

Aside from any physical element Edstrom and Rempe may offer, their skating abilities make them an asset, the additional bonus is their wing span in getting sticks on pucks where they may have been unable to put body on body.

That and they know their role and what makes them successful. They get to the front of the net and create havoc. Keep the game simple, retrieve pucks, move the puck to the point, go to the net. With Fox and Gustafsson on the back end, that’s a good recipe for a 4th line.

which ever unit has Fox is clearly PP1. Gustafsson is an okay QB but Fox is the guy who controls everything. These units are dumb and handicap one of the best PPQBs in the world
Unprecedented level of idiocy. Actually really excited to see that second unit though. That’s the PP1 unit I’d run with Fox. Although I’m assuming it will feature Trocheck on one of the half walls making it terrible. If Trocheck is at bumper and Laf/Kakko are the goal line and half wall players opposite Panarin then they’re cooking. Seam passes and bumper one timers for days instead of spamming Kreider tips

I think it might be more effective to have a lefty on that unit up top. Gustafsson could either one-time pucks from Panarin, as the PP will run through him or he could pass it to Laf from a more advantageous position on his forehand. But I am excited to see if they run more set plays from down low to the bumper.

the love affair with Brodzinski is pretty pathetic. He is a minor leaguer for a reason. Not that good

Don’t get this sentiment. He’s been our best bottom 6er all year outside of Vesey and for league min. He’s earned a top-12 spot unless they go nuts at forward at the deadline.

This is a good time to see Berard. I think Rempe needs more time to be a real option. Love Edstrom so far.

Hopefully we see all 3 by deadline day

I’m guessing that they will put Trocheck on the right wall and then they won’t even be able to run bumper plays

Lavi needs to take Fox off the PK and let him play the full 2 with both PP units
Fox only plays 1:15 per game on the PK, 4th most on the team for dmen. Schneider plays 1 minute per game and Gus isn't really a good option.

Pitlick might be on his way out of the lineup, at least as a regular. Sounds like he is often hurt/dealing with something. The Rempe comment about playing center for the last month also makes me think they are no longer glued to Goodrow, at least as a center.

If they move Goodrow, I'd watch this for the rest of the year:

Panarin-Tro-Laf
Kreider-Z-Wheeler
Cuylle-Brod-Kakko
Vesey-Rempe-Edstrom
Pitlick

Maybe Vatrano or Duclair in for Wheeler. Wheeler goes to line 4 and Edstrom plays center with Rempe 13th?

Chances are none of this happens. Haha

This. Were the most lifeless boring team in the nhl. Ive never watched a less entertaining ranger team in my life
Naw, that's a little extreme. I'd say there have been at least 5-6 teams since the 2005-06 lockout that were much more boring, even with Lundqvist in A+ mode.

I recall Petr Sykora regretted ever coming here.
He was fine.
