I mean I’m more interested to see what he can do than see Brodzinski and Pitlick out there. That’s the bar. It’s a low barThe Edstrom fascination should be put in the HF hall of fame.

Ehh I’m not seeing it.The Edstrom fascination should be put in the HF hall of fame.
The guy in Calgary is looking fot $50M plus in his next contract.Calgary has one available.
I'm all about moving Lindgren too.
Whether or not the Rangers would do it is another story but theres a deal to be made.
Great to see
Depends on how the rangers value kuzmenko. My sense is he's a one dimensional shooter/scorer. But I'm not very familiar with him. A first and Perrault is a fair price to pay for a young top line player, for sure. But is kuzmenko that guy?Canucks fan here.
What do you guys think about this:
Kuzmenko (1.5M retained) for Goodrow, 2024 1st and Gabe Perrault?
Essentially getting a 39 goal scorer (at @ 4M) and dumping a useless contract but you would have to give up Perrault and a late 1st (for retaining).
Tocchet and his caffeinated arteries is benching and sitting Kuzmenko because he wants all his players to play a two way game which has Kuzmenko being misused. Guy can easily score 30 goals a season with ice time which is super frustrating.
what y’all say
I would consider it. Over 8 years that's a 6.25 hit. Real nice. The guy in Calgary is looking fot $50M plus in his next contract.
Pretty sure the article is sourced from a BS site that sources it from an even more BS site. GarbagioNHL rumors: Rangers, Flames discussing possible Kaapo Kakko trade
The New York Rangers and Calgary Flames are reportedly rumored to be in discussions about a Kaapo Kakko-led trade.clutchpoints.com
Well i doubt this. Anybody know if this dude is serious? At the bottom it says he covers the Mavs and MLB. I don't trust it but it's something to discuss.
And interesting it's the Flames...
Maybe the author visits our little corner of the web, like Larry.
Thats fine. The guy in Calgary is looking fot $50M plus in his next contract.

Why would we load up on Hanifin going into the playoffs? He has 8 points in 27 PO appearances. Doesn’t look like a postseason performer to me.Thats fine.
Lindgren and a Goodrow buyout would cover most of that.
Are we talking about the same Kakko? I agree he's probably not on the block...yet. However, he's never been accused of being fast.I doubt the Rangers are shopping Kakko. He’s young, cheap, fast, defensively responsible, and they are already very thin at RW.

Maybe fast enough for what he does. Are we talking about the same Kakko? I agree he's probably not on the block...yet. However, he's never been accused of being fast.
Giving up 2 first round picks for a guy being benched obviously seems dangerous but why exactly are you saying it is awful? The guy does have some impressive hands. He undressed Vince last season with a through the legs move. I know he is basically a no contact player but I do not know much about hi outside of his highlights. This absolutely awful. In every way possible
I do not know if they are actively shopping KK but if he was asked for in a trade I'm sure he would be available for the right price. His trade value has not grown in his 5 years. If anything it has declined.I doubt the Rangers are shopping Kakko. He’s young, cheap, fast, defensively responsible, and they are already very thin at RW.
Did anyone actually read the article...the supposed trade is Kakko AND Schneider for Tanev & Ruzicka. LOL.I have a hard time believing they are trading Kakko to Calgary. My reasoning is they aren’t a fit for us in a mid season trade. Kakko coming back improves us, our record with Kakko and without him is surprisingly noticeably worse since he’s been hurt.
Do I want hanifan? Sure. But I doubt the rangers, being number 1 in the league, are about to trade both Kakko and Lindgren to acquire him. Lindholm shouldn’t cost Kakko either.
AND a 2nd rounder from usDid anyone actually read the article...the supposed trade is Kakko AND Schneider for Tanev & Ruzicka. LOL.
I read it. I literally wrote “I have a hard time believing they are trading Kakko to Calgary”Did anyone actually read the article...the supposed trade is Kakko AND Schneider for Tanev & Ruzicka. LOL.
Untouchable means for no price. Laf I would agree with. Chytil and Kakko I'd disagree, those would simply be selling low, and I'm against that in principle, but selling low on andersson got us Cuylle.Laf has to be untouchable at this time. Chytil too because we would end up selling so low. We have some nice options if Hartford guys (namely Othmann) work out. Agree replacement/backup C and backup D. Hatet o think of losing Kakko though.
Heavy hockey isn't just dumbasses tho...Drury is not stupid and understands that "heavy" hockey wins in the playoffs. We have enough skill, we need big, strong PIA type players both up front and in the back. Perry should be an obvious target, that type of player.
The guy that got kicked off one of the worst teams in the league for his conduct?Drury is not stupid and understands that "heavy" hockey wins in the playoffs. I dont even care about that. Perry has one skill, and thats agitation, he's terrible defensively, he's terrible offensively. He's worse than goodrow and bonino. end of story. The guy that got kicked off one of the worst teams in the league for his conduct?
Yeah sounds like a great addition
