- Nic Dowd
- Nikita Zadorov
- Anthony Duclair

I think Dowd and Duclair would be great fits. We may have to wait on Dowd if the caps somehow hang in the playoff race.
I was hoping that those two won't cost us a first or any top prospects.

Yes in theory.

He can carry the load with zone entries (where I imagine he's still pretty good) and he's creative enough to be able to distribute. Its what Zib needs. I'd take Kreider off his wing yesterday but who ever plays LW on that line really doesn't matter unless its going to be the guy who is going to get the most out of Z.

Is it a perfect option? No. Is the cost to reward ratio worth it? Maybe. I don't know what he'd go for in this market.

Had some really good moments for Florida last year so you know the moment isn't too big for him.

I don't get why people are so high on Edmundson. He's basically just another Ben Chiarot. The last time he had a decent season was 2020-21, where he was carried by Jeff Petry. Besides that season he hasn't had an xGF% north of 50% since he was with the blues

You have to pay to dump Goodrow, or buyout last resort. If Lindgren @ 4.5 and Gus @ 2.5, there's just enough money to keep the defense the same if they wish.

It's a heavy price in assets, but you have to pay to get. The half-assed rental approaches have not worked, and if they rent again they'll just do it again next year and lose the same or more assets anyway. Pay up and have a good looking team mostly locked up for next year.

I'm getting the sense that he's a Gorton guy and someone Drury isn't high on. I can see him as a piece moved this deadline or this summer. Otherwise he would've had a shot over AHL journeymen.

I know Shesty is not having the best season but I don't understand why he's being valued so lowly. Recent Vezina. He's still a top goalie in this league and the GMs out there would be drooling at an opportunity to add him. He's worth way more than what Calgary got for Lindholm. He has one more year left at a really affordable cap hit. I can see the logic of trading high on him this summer but we should get an absolute HAUL for him. I know yall will shoot this down but as a BASE - I'd explore something around Draisaitl for Shesterkin. I could see winning a cup with Leon.

We'd be trading for Swayman's early signing rights. If we already managed to pull two 2nds for Lindgren and we are only getting salary negotiation rights, might two 2nds be overpayment by like x2?

Last I heard from the HFD thread was that Robertson wasn't developing very quickly and that Scalin was closer to being NHL ready between the two.

Berard is a rookie and tied for first in goals on the Wolfpack. No way I deal him unless for a top line player coming back. He is close to untouchable in my opinion. I would not deal Othmann, Berard, Sykora, Rempe, Edstrom other than overpayment. Hope this is the next core.

Agreed. Outside of Cuylle, Berard, Sykora’s energetic type of game, Othmann’s and Rempe grit and toughness are the few players that are willing to play with an edge and hard work consistently in the whole organization
