Filip Chytil being out for the season. The 2017 first-round pick looked ready to break out big this season but instead has been limited to just 10 games. The Rangers are a pretty strong bet to make the playoffs, but without Chytil, their odds of going further do go down.
With Chytil returning, their odds of winning it all were 4.9 percent and their odds of winning a round were 54.9 percent. Those odds have dropped to 4.1 percent and 52.7 percent, respectively. Not earth-shattering by any means, but still noteworthy.
