Btw I’d like to add that all of you blaming Dolan for anything are out of touch. Dolan for the most part has always been hands off with the rangers.

Him saying he wants to win doesn’t mean he picks the players
things changed when you canned gorts and jd. he let them run the ship and he didnt like where it went...

That’s completely different. Looking back at it now I think we’d all agree that Dolan made the right now. Too many whiffs on first rounders.
how is it different. he lost trust in what was happening. virtually everyone with credibility reported dolan was involved in the kane trade, he has been more involved than in the past and the management change was the tipping point.

Being involved and telling drury to go get an impact player like Kane at the f***ing deadline and forcing the Knicks hand to sign players is very different

Yeah with the main differences being that Chychrun is actually good and Lindgren has avoided missing a ton of time considering how often he gets blown up.

Then again, he's probably played through shit in the past that he shouldn't have tried to play through and its entirely possible that we're seeing it catch up to him.
it's like youre ignoring that chychrun has averaged 55 games a season in his career prior to this year, that is over 7 seasons so it is not a small sample size.

for all the shit people talk about lindgren being injured the man has played an average of 64 games a season since he became a full time player 3 years ago.

I didnt say anything about the knicks, but you said this so my comment is accurate: Btw I’d like to add that all of you blaming Dolan for anything are out of touch. Dolan for the most part has always been hands off with the rangers.

Zegras only had 2 points in his first 12 games but he has had 5 points in the next 8 games. Is he coming around?
He and cronin have not been seeing eye to eye bc cronin has basically gone tough love on him trying to develop him into a player rather than a highlight reel. the perception is that verbeek doesnt love him and that is part of why he was not signed super long term. he hasnt done himself favors this year with his play, but for young offensive players sometimes it is a process to get them to learn sustainable offense on a good team comes through solid defensive habits.

wtf are you even saying?
goodnight

You made one point of trading for Kane. Thats it. You also referenced that he was involved in firing gorts and jd. Which is his f***ing job as an owner. I’d like to add I think him firing them was a blessing

Being involved in 1 trade during drurys tenure is by definition “mostly staying hands off”…..

No I very much acknowledge that Chychrun is made of glass.

it hasnt been only one trade publicly , take that how you will.

i would rather pay lindgren less money to miss less games then pay chychrun more to miss more games ha

Zegras has bought into trying to be a better all-around player. Before he broke his ankle he was looking like himself. Problem with Zegras for every nice play he makes there is a bone-head play in there as well. I think he already lost his 1C slot to Leo Carlsson who is looking like the real deal.

Chytil out.
Fox not dominating.
Shesty has been bad.
KK is a rumor.
KAM having off ice issues.
Lindgrins body beat up.
Zibs past prime 5 on 5.
No Vatrano, Buch, Kane, Tank, or Copp.

Bright side is Laf is playing better, Vinnie, Cuylle and Bread.
What off ice issues is KAM having? I must have missed it. I know he has struggled this season; maybe it's weighing on him.

I mean he’s had 2 60 point seasons before his 22nd birthday. I understand the concern with him but in a swap of players you’d have to think he keeps up that type of production at minimum on a better team
not necessarily. He wouldn’t get any pp time or the minutes he’s getting now here…… just like the young guys we already have.

Just go low end at the deadline and see what happens this offseason.

Kevin Hayes for Matthew Robertson + 4th
Joel Edmundson for Bobby Trivigno + 6th

Offseason plans for me would be to trade Trouba and Lindgren and I’d seriously look at signing Demelo or Schultz and re-signing Edmundson or signing Dillon. All to short term deals.

exactly

I’d rather not pay Lindgren at all. Healthy or not he isn’t very good.

There are options beyond Chychrun who can fit in.
there are, one is in calgary...
