Its funny that we are talking about trading Igor. I mean, i've never believed he was all world. A decent goaltender, yes, but not all world.

So i ask, if we trade Igor, who we going with for the next couple years.....J Quick?? LOL
You don't have to trade Igor. If you believe the return helps the team, then maybe you look into trading Igor. However, after next season, I don't think you can worry about who you have to replace him because the next contract cannot hinder the team.

Imagine thinking Miller is bad at pinching lol.

You guys remember the one that failed and forget the 10 that were successful before it.

You know who is actually bad at pinching? The other 2 bozo's who aren't fox in the top 4.

Miller's reads can be very bad, and often. Lindgren can't make a play at the point because he can't juke laterally.

Vince saying on his podcast we have 5.2 mil to spend at the deadline and they want a couple gritty forwards who contribute in multiple areas. We are cooking with gas if we add a couple Barbashev/Lehkonen types to the middle 6.

Still need a defenseman too though.

Hi. How's HFNYR doing? --Elmo
Apparently the world is burning because the Rangers aren't as good as we want them to be. Based on that criteria, the planet should be a pile of ash considering they have only been what we wanted once in the last 84 years. You would think we would be used to this by now.

Thats before even getting to the prospect of moving players off the roster.

They can do several things. if they're going to punt their 1st, please let it be for a player who has some term. None of this Monahan bull shit (I'm not sold on the idea that he's really on their radar anyway before getting to the rumored bad blood between the FO's.)

Barbashev and Lehkonen are great examples of players we should target but that doesn't feel like the Rangers MO. Their MO is more like borderline 4th liners and then they play too much.

Lindgren, Kakko & honestly Goodrow could be moved imo. Im down on Miller but realistically they arent moving him unless they are getting a young core piece in return (Pinto). Lindgren is running his course here and I think the front office and coaching staff realize this. Same with Kakko, although I have said before I like him in the role he is in on the 3rd line. Goodrow I could see going in a move for salary reasons. 15 team no trade but a bubble team or rebuilder in a good market might take him on in a bigger deal to make the money work.

I remember we were interested in Lehkonen at the trade deadline in 2022, but we couldn't beat Colorado's offer of Barron and a 2nd.

They were in on Lehkonen and paid for Copp instead. They had the space to add both though and in hindsight, they totally should have (it would have drawn some ire here, but I would have punted Nils for Lehkonen.) All things considered this was a really good deadline for Dru, everything he acquired contributed positively.

Don't think they were ever in on Barbashev but thats mostly because they were too busy star chasing and trying to add all of Panarin's friends last year. This was a horrible deadline.

I remember Kakko being the ask from Montreal. Shouldve done it in hindsight but that was a lot to ask back then.

I don't think it was, or at least I don't think theres any truth to that rumor considering what he ended up going for eventually.

Nils and Barron probably had similar value with Nils having more in their eyes considering that a chunk of the people responsible for taking Nils were in Montreal.

How about Ross Colton if the Avs find a legit #2 center and can't get rid of Ryan Johansen?
