He’s a huge bust IMO. Someone will obviously take a flyer on him but I dont see him sticking in the NHL full time.

We can move Goodie to 4C if Rydahl sucks, backfill him with Blais or Motte. I think Kravtsov has inside track but Othmann or Cuylle or Blais may have something to say. You could flip Pan and Krat for a different look. Doesn’t cost any assets and we don’t have to pay to move Nemeth yet.

The buyout period closes tomorrow at 5pm. A team can place a players on waivers tomorrow. They can process the paperwork for the buyout. If the player is claimed on waivers on Wednesday, obviously there is no buyout of the contract.

I just meant that they could waive him and busy him at no cap hit. Why buy him out?
