Most likely 13 just to be able to bank as much cap space as possible.
I’m worried that Vegas may grab Domingue. Their goaltending is a mess.

Rest easy my child. Domingue is worse than their two healthy goalies and also their two injured goalies.
Well, I’m in that camp but they make take him as a short term blowout patch and waive him again later.
BTW — every time I see your avatar, I’m reminded of the time I sat next to Jason Alexander on a flight. The only thing I said to him (when I was exiting the plane) was “I, on the other hand, liked Bob Patterson“. He laughed (I think)

The only way I see them going 14 is if they do it for the first day or two because they want to get someone through waivers after all of the other waivers have been done and teams are set.
We can barely fit 23 players under the cap, and would be banking almost no space.

Plenty of goalies will get waived before the end of camp or during the season. If they don't, you can get one for a very late pick. I see like five trades last year of a similar goalie to Domingue traded for future considerations. Losing Domingue is irrelevant and if he has to play for any length of time the time will be sunk anyway.

We literally just got Domingue so he would stop shutting us down every time our opponent is forced to put him in for whatever reason.

I think that depends on how he starts the season.
I think if either Halak or Shesty go down for any length of time they’d ride whichever wasn’t hurt extremely hard though- Domingue really wouldn’t play very many games.
Nice luxury to be quibbling over 12/13F and 6/7 D

But since the announcement, that his Junior team will host Memorial Cup, I've been wondering if he goes back in Feb/March

I flew on the same flight with Jason Alexander & his family from LA to NYC when I was still in the music biz...let's just say it didn't shock me when he sat in first class & his wife & young son sat a row behind me in coach. This was in 2001 when money for him was clearly not an issue.
