Cool the guy who played like Chris Pronger against us in the 2017 playoffs. Sure bet he will be another Nemeth but hey he will be another reason Jones can get some more experience in Hartford.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I think waivers for the first month are based on last year’s standings, so we didn’t have a chance at Bellows. He would’ve been a good depth add. Harpur was signed off his PTO in HFD and is on waivers to get sent down

Pretty sure Flyers would have priority here

When healthy, Blais is the better player at every facet of the game I can think of.
Give me hunt for half the price of blais all day

Motte has 2G, 4A in his first 6 games with Ottawa. I thought he couldn't score wtf.

Thats more than every Rangers forward not named Mika or Bread lol
Wouldve taken motte > blais even at the same number. Fact he is signed at 1.25 is a kick in the balls

Let's slow the roll here a bit and remember Blais really hasn't played for about a year. When he gets his legs he's a heavy guy to play against and certainly miles ahead of Dryden effing Hunt.

Look at Reaves, not Blais.

The DTD injuries for Chytil, Kravtsov, Blais, and Carpenter have forced the club to carry 14 forwards, which is leaving them without any cap space to play with at the deadline.

Thank goodness, no temptation to overpay and part with any of those godsend first rounders we have.

I think at this point NYR should move on from Blais. Trade him for a mid pick to a team like Ott/Wild/Jets(team with some space and he might be more useful there). NYR could really use the extra cap space for the deadline and it would allow them to carry 14 F with all these d2d injuries.

I wonder what you could get for Blais at the deadline. Teams like those banger types for some reason. Goodrow fetched a first though with term.

Apropos of nothing, I think Vesey, Gauthier, and Goodrow would make for a pretty good 4th line.

Way better than our current fourth line.

Yeah, I think we have to live or die by basically THIS roster this year. I'm fine with that. I think most of the top teams are in similar straights. It's a good year to have two firsts, and even to have a down year if you are going to have one.
Things will likely loosen up cap wise next year and our young players will be one year further into their development. It is what it is. Hopefully half the board isn't jumping out of windows if things don't go as well as expected.

Blais is the gift that no one wanted that keeps on giving.

I'm not going to argue about the Buchnevich trade because I'm as disappointed as you are (were) with the what we ended up getting.

That being said, Blais was a f***ing beast in the St. Louis Cup run. He's an ideal 3rd/4th line guy on a Cup contending team.

This guy can't even spell Harper and we expect him to play defense for us?

"Expect him to be assigned to Hartford"

Translation:
190% He's in the Rangers lineup this weekend.

Wow I'm so glad we are going to get to watch the Harpur-Schneider tandem instead of letting Jones play. Watching Hajek wasn't enough pain, lets bring in someone just as bad but he's big. We all know that's what is going to happen. Bunch of garbage.

Watch at some point we will see Hajek Harpur as the 3rd pair 🤮

New 3rd pair Hajek Harpur vs Dallas, Arizona or Philadelphia mark my words

This is awesome. Love this. Great costume. Isn’t Vince Vaughn a hockey fan? I think he’s a Blackhawks fan. I think they interviewed him during the Blackhawks early Stanley Cup runs. Reason I ask cause I wonder if he seen this and shared this. I would love a Dodgeball sequel with Stiller and Vaughn.

Landeskog is on LTIR for Colorado, so they’re going to have huge space available at the deadline.

Might as well give them the Cup again.
