To me, this really comes down to what he said to Georgiev. I cant imagine that FO really intended that Deangelo never criticize a teammate for their play or else he gets traded.Bc the organization said one more issue and you're gone and he did something so they kept to their word. If your boss tells you you have one more chance or your fired and you do something wrong but they don't fire you then they lose all credibility in the future as everything will appear to be empty threats. How would that lack of following through on your word reverberate down to all the other young kids in the organization? It would render direction from the organization to players as irrelevant and disciple out the window. He's incredibly talented but he was warned and he chose not to listen.
So if Deangelo did not cross an objective line in his criticism of Georgiev's bungle, are we to believe that Deangelo's "last straw" was getting accosted by a hotheaded Georgiev?
What purpose does that serve, except to hurt our roster?
