There's nothing like a good pizza discussion to harmonize the board. Well maybe landing the second pick in the draft. Whenever I go back to NYC, I eat pizza for every meal and it always includes a visit to Joe's (the one in LA isn't bad either). Ok, back to hoping for a trade....

Every one of Kravtsov, Kakko and Buch are left-handed. They don't all need to play RW.

They all are better on that side from what I’ve seen, as is Chytil I’d moved to wing. Better to have players in their natural positions.

I'm more of a traditional plain pizza kinda of guy, preferably well done.. But If you're ever in Plainview, go to La Piazza Pizzeria and get a slice or 7 of their buffalo pizza... Ridunkulous. And the chicks that go there are smoking hot. Line often times starts outside the restaurant, but it's worth it.

Kreider at less than 7 is a bargain and would be a great player to keep long term. Late start in the NHL (6seasons), first line production, high character/leadership, clutch scorer, and among a minuscule group of wingers (Stone, Saad) that tilt the ice and make every player on their line better. Has there been a dominant line for the Rangers in the last six years w/o Kreider on it?

But I understand he's gone. Personally think he's worth much more as a player than as trade bait for a first round pick, but whatever.

The Rangers don't have much to discuss with Keator. Kreider is set up to get the biggest payday of his career and he should take it. Don't be like Shattenkirk. I saw him on FOX 5 this morning with Tina Cervasio talking about his charity event with Anders Lee coming up on Friday. She was asking him about the Rangers acquistions but those additions have made Shattenkirk expendable in addition to his awful play. It's his life but he should taken the $42M over 7 years from TB in the sign trade for Johnson or Drouin. Now the Rangers would love to get him off of the team.

Tina Cervasio on Instagram: “We had a blast having @nyrangers @shattdeuces in our @fox5ny studios for #GDNY to talk @jamkancer at @versanyc @rennycmidtown, Kan Jam Vs…”

The NHL is meeting with the NHLPA today or tomorrow to finalize the number which should be announced on Saturday. The teams would prefer the upper limit to be announced today or tomorrow.

I gave you 2 likes, but I'm not expecting any back in return.

Ehhh La Piazza??

What about Villa Monte down the road?? They have tons of specialty slices, some i have not seen in other pizza places. I think they are better than most pizza places in the surrounding area.

I'd still keep Kreider. I know he's one of the "balls in the air" but I'd keep him for a reasonable price.
They dont HAVE to trade Kreider. It is ok to keep a few veterans. It also ok to pay them. Not everyone has to be moved. As Seravelli said in the TSN article Edge posted, the Rangers are still deciding on Kreider. He could very will be part of the rebuild given his ability and style of play.

All depends on his ask.

That wasn’t dubas fault. That’s market dynamics unfolding
Disagree, market dynamics did not consummate their strategy to sign JT and then to pay AM an inflated number without getting the max term. This is a different situation if the AM contract was 8 years...

And you can also still trade him at the TDL.

Haven’t tried it! I live in CT now so I’m not out there too often

It's more for a lack of a better term. What I mean by gourmet is just that their thing is to have other takes on pizza toppings like thai chicken pizza or shrimp scampi pizza.

If anyone (not you personally) needs all that crap on their pizza, they've never had good pizza before. I'm so rigid on this, that I feel like with certain wines, Italy should come up with some law designating what can actually be called pizza. Seafood on dough is not pizza, Chicken on dough is not pizza, Korean BBQ on dough is not pizza.

This rant is not directed at you, so please don't take offense. I'm Italian from Queens & I obviously take my pizza way too seriously.

So, as we wait, I'll take my crack at reading the tea leaves regarding @Edge's balls "currently in the air":

NYR Kreider <–> ARZ #14OA (Higher probability big trade.)

NYR Buchnevcih+Namestnikov+Lindgren <–> EDM #8OA + Puljujarvi (Lower probability big trade, involving 4-5 pieces.)

NYR Namestnikov <–> Puljujarvi EDM (3nd, smaller option that could happen on its own or be part of the 2nd)

(1 and 2 are alternatives, as the team is not looking to ship out both Kreider and Buchnevich.)

In addition, ongoing conversations regarding...

NYR Vesey <–> BUF #31OA

NYR Kreider <–> COL #16OA

NYR Day <–> VGK C. Miller (cap dump, Rangers then flip Miller)

Multiple permutations with Toronto depending on which of the above happen, and how the Marner situation plays out.

Bolded ones seem a little lopsided in our favor in my opinion.

Last week Brooks was the worst writer on the planet according the HF. Today what he says is gospel. Who knows. Not even sure the Rangers or Kreider's camp didn't leak this to Brooks to put pressure on the other side.

If they're going to make additions like Trouba and who knows who else, I'd keep Kreider. If they still want to add draft picks and think of this as 2-3 years away, then trade him. If you think you're 1-2 years, and can get him on reasonable terms, keep him. Having veterans and continuity can be good.
