If the organization feels the need to sit Kravtsov this regularly than I’m calling Edmonton and asking what the small price would be on Puljujaarvi. He’s lost there and I still think he is going to settle in as a nice 40-50 point defensively responsible winger. He’s on a weird ride this season which means the price should be low. See if they’ll retain $500k and send them a 3rd rounder.

I know it's asking too much but I would like to keep both firsts in this draft. the "experts" are saying this draft is forward loaded so maybe just maybe we can hit on one or both first round forward picks?
At what point do we have enough 1st rounders?

Rather go after someone like Holloway, someone with more edge, compete and physical skill.

not a fan of Puljujaarvi at all, rather get a draft pick if he was being offered.

Holloway for Kravtsov?

Holloway’s value is not that good considering he was a 1st round pick. 22 games only 1 goal. He rarely gets ice time in Edmonton.

I hear you but would be nice to take a chance on two centers (supposedly there are some to be found this draft in first round). If Kakko and Laf are gonna be the future it would be nice to have some legit centers in the pipeline no offense to Korczak, Barker, Grubbe go along with some talented wingers.

Holloway’s value is exponentially higher than Kravtsov’s. He’s already a better player, he’s 2 years younger, and he’s extremely versatile. Edmonton needs to give him more time. I don’t see them trading him. We would need to add a 1st for Edmonton to listen.

He'd develop better if they sent him to the AHL. A3eful handing of Holloway kinda the way they handled Pool Party

Can we stop pretending like Mika and Trocheck aren't here for at least the next 3-5 years.

If they sign Chytil, that's the center spot all taken for the foreseeable future.

It'd be great to draft a Zegras... but lets be serious...

Trocheck can be moved in 3 and if we draft in the middle of the round we can be patient with a center. Take someone going to college, or needs some time to develop

Holloway wouldn't get much ice time with the Rangers either, knowing this coaching staff.

ranger organization developing players:

-if developing defensemen and goalies yeah they're ok
-if developing centers and wingers probably one of the worst in the whole entire league. 25-26 years old sounds about right when a few of them finally show some signs of 1st or 2nd line consistent ability.
-for this organization owning 1st round picks is a colossal waste. they've suck at drafting for decades so enough about hoarding picks already.

They are good at drafting Callahan Dubinsky Fast types. What happened with those ways of development? I think it gotten worse since the letter was sent to the fans.

hagelin and duclair were good picks too.

i don't have an answer for your question but yeah that type of development has been non existent for quite some time.

imho best offensive player the rangers developed in the last 10-15 years was zucc. i still miss that guy.

When we have two young stud centers and Chytil, Othmann, Kakko, Laf and Kravtsov are all top 6 wingers who spill over into our top 9.
You need veterans too, but I think they should keep both first rounders. If they make a run and deal one conditionally on making the finals or winning the cup, then I’m okay with it

Chances Rempe gets called up to replace what Reaves brought as the tough guy, maybe he is closer than some here think?

They "developed" him by not recognising the talent they had and letting him go and play elsewhere for years.

He seems like a guy that’s going to benefit from staying in the AHL for a bit of time. Seems more like a project then someone you throw into the NHL right away. 0 % chance IMO.
