It has not only occurred to me, but I know that is the reason why they don't push. The difference is, I don't find that a valid excuse to be bad at/not do your job.Has it occurred to you that if the reporters don't ask the lab questions then they might be denied preferential access? That's the problem. The organization is under no requirement to give all of these people access. Sure, it could be spun into bad PR, but the majority of people would just tune in to listen to the answers from whoever was still granted access. It's a balancing act for the reporters of not pissing the organization off too much but then also trying to extract some information for readers/listeners
That's weird, were you listening live or listening to the recorded version on an app? I was listening to it live
If asking the right questions, probing the right people and providing fans with valuable and insightful information is too dangerous, that's another indictment on the org and should, also, be exposed.
But, of course, this won't change at all. At the end of the day, at least Vince and Mollie ask questions. The rest of them just cobble together information based on other people's articles and various message boards.
