Feeling it
I agree with this to a degree, for sure.No doubt. But sometimes the vets have to go into the coach's office and say, "Hey I want to play with X and I think he deserves a shot here." Every few weeks, Laf or Kakko get a couple games in the top-six, then its back to the bottom-six while while some no-name JAG (Vesey, Blais, Goodrow, Hunt, Blackwell, McKegg) who is clearly in over his head gets an extended look. It's insanity, and I wonder if it's coming in part from the vets.
Its like they put Kakko up, the put Laf up. What is the magic output that needs to occur to keep them there indefinitely? Whats the reward/incentive for these kids if everytime they get a shot, in 3-4 games or less they go back to where they were?
Like "oh!. this is it now! This is the line!" is it 10 goals in 3 games for the line? Is it consistent dominance that needs to happen for a month? Is it something specific from Kakko/Laf hes not seeing? Its not like we see it with the Veseys, Blackwells and Hunts...
How do they climb the ladder if there is no top to reach
