looks like Kravtsov is scratched again

I guess Lechyshusnsnyn has to play if Goodrow is not at 4C...

No reason to call up Cuylle not to play. They're going to give Blais a chance coming back.

Bring back Staal, give him the “C”, Trouba starts to play better, it all makes sense now. Lol

I smell fire rn. Krav, Cuylle and 1st for Tarasenko and Barbashev?
Acquiring Horvat this early was such a Lou move. 5 teams in the metro were looking for players and all of a sudden the 6th in the division goes out and grabs one of the hottest player in the market. Carolina has cap space, Devils have a lot of pieces and both Pitt & Washington aren't thinking ahead of next season. Pressure is on. The deadline could be really dry if the dominos start falling this early. Or the price tags could be twice of the original which would lead to pieces starting to get moved way earlier.

I would really like to see if Cuylle can be that guy with size who can actually play/has some speed before we trade him for a rental. We are going to need cost controlled capable young guys like that.
I know I might be in the minority but right now out of those three assets I would value Cuylle the most.

I mean... Vesey 1st line and Goodrow 2nd

What's left to do but watch the Caps and Pens blow by us?

It so hard to root for this team sometimes.

How? The way Kravtsov's been handled this season makes him a trade bait. I don't like the idea of Cuylle being moved but it is what it is.
They already can't play everyone and you're replacing the two guys who are probably scratched with two guys who will 100% play.

Sit blais and waive Leswhatever. I know the latter won't happen considering how Blais is being handled but man can hope.
Kreider - Mika - Tarasenko
Panarin - Trocheck - Barbashev
Kid line
Gauthier - Goodrow - Vesey

Yeah I don't see that happening. 2 of our better forward prospects and a 1st rounder in a deep draft for two rentals we probably won't be able to keep because of cap issues. It's questionable that those additions are going to be enough to get past Boston, Carolina or Tampa. Not a good idea if Drury has that in mind.

Personally the best forward out there is Meier but even bringing him in pretty much means we have to move Panarin or Kreider in the summer.

Additions are coming. Who would you put in those spots today? You think those teams would be afraid of Kravtsov in the playoffs?

I highly doubt we see a player that Drury drafted who is starting to get a few looks traded right now. These are players that drury wants to build around and create in his image. Cuylle and the cheap ELC contracts will be needed next season.
