Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. The admin team will continue to work on existing issues, templates and upgrade all necessary available addons to minimize impact of this new version. Click Here for Updates

We've had several turd games, it's just kinda crazy. How can he go from his last game being on Panarin's line (and a strong game at that where he got a point) to being a healthy scratch 5 straight because he got a tooth infection?

Zibs needs to put some extra time in on his shot. He's not getting it cleanly and he's not locating it. He's just trying to hit it hard and hope for the best. He also attempts more 'shot-passes' to Kreider than actually shooting it on net. That's a problem.
I know it sounds stupid but I'd rather this team spend all practice's with shooting drills(skill drills) than doing what they're doing now. The cotton candy/mickey mouse pace isn't conducive to our success. At the least, sharpen and hone your skills in practice.

My thought is you obviously have panarin on pp1, no question, but when the guy on the halfwall that the entire pp is known to be passing to the center or left of the ice everything is going the same direction. If he slides to the bumper his playmaking can be more quick play and offer more options on creativity. I mean when panarin and strome switched spots I didn't see a noticeable difference in the pp. The pp works when. Zib is hitting corners w his onetimer and Kreider is doing his crease work. Everything else is based on getting the puck to those two. You should be able to put a lefty on the halfwall and move panarin to the bumper while keeping the rest in tact. Panarin can offer a shooting option and also distribute from the bumper with one touch passes and we could finally have a shoot option on the right side of the ice instead of constantly having ALL the play going to the left side of the ice. It is all too predictable at this point and everyone is stationary and stagnant except panarin who we all know is going to force/pass the puck to the left side somehow.

We've had turd final score games. The last game the Rangers out chanced the Ducks 2-1 and hit six posts along with a Halak freebie.
The problem now is the balanced lineup. He's not going in on the 4th line and really hasn't earned displacing someone else in front of him. Goodrow is on pace for 20 / 20. Vesey has points in three of four. He has to wait.

If the Rangers are truly in win-now mode and Krav is effectively the 13th forward on the depth chart, he is probably better off development-wise getting first line reps in another league. But we know how he feels about the AHL and how the Rangers feel about the KHL. This is dumb all around.

What has kravtsov done to deserve ice? What impact has he had when he has played? If we didn't use a top 10 pick on him he wouldnt even be a topic here. Hoping the kid does something to make an impact but he's been worse here this year then he was when he had that cameo at the end of the season years ago.

There really isn't a viable solution unless you think Kravtsov is ready for the top 6ish. Which winger is he slotting ahead of? Panarin/Kakko/LaF/Kreider? Nope. And Vesey and Goodrow have been producing. It's a waiting game at this point for a young winger that really hasn't proven anything yet.

Sens, who have been awful, put up 4 goals on the ducks through 2 periods but somehow our loss to the ducks was on halak and bad luck bc we could only score 2 goals against a bottom 5 team.
