I think the Isles were probably offering Hamonic and that didn't get it done, which is exactly what they were looking for. Avs wanted Barzal as well.

Right. So he has been in the doghouse of every coach that he has had. It's becoming a pattern. There are other, better options that are without the risk and/or possible head aches. He was taken 3rd overall but in a lousy draft, especially for forwards. It's not a bet that I would make.

I think we tried that once before. I do not think Gorton would do it. Its frowned upon but it would be interesting.
