Galchenyuk isn't a center. The Rangers need a center. Better off going for a guy like Reinhart. Buffalo needs to get out of the rebuilding mire fast or Eichel is not going to want to stick around. Or maybe just save up for Eichel offer sheet. Wouldn't that be nice?

He's not a center to the Habs... but maybe he would be to the Rangers?

I think if we can get Nate M we should go for it within reason. That might even include both the kids we just drafted but Id try to keep McD and Kreider.

Galchenyuk is a center. The Habs are just idiots.

He's not a center. None of their coaches think he is a center. They can't just blame Therrian anymore. He isn't physical enough to play in the middle. They got Drouin, who is not a center either, to try at center because that is how much they do not think Galchenyuk is a center. I'm not buying it.

Is Reinhart really a center?

I think he is more a center than Galchenyuk, and if you think Montreal is a stupid organization (for not giving Galchenyuk a center position), I present to you the Buffalo Sabres.

Coaches? He played a couple dozen games in Julien's doghouse, who hates creative offensive players.

I know Colorado is supposedly looking for a LHD for Duchene, but they're so screwed up they just need talent.

would they do Miller, a 2nd and maybe Graves for Duchene?

That's only if the Rangers believe Duchene needs a COS.

we then sign Dadonov to replace Miller, and sign Shattenkirk.

out Miller, Stepan, Girardi.. in. Duchene, Dadonov, Shattenkirk

Duchenne's price is so high right now that Sakic is thinking about keeping him. So no, that's not gonna get him right now.

I would strategically offersheet Kuznetsov just the right amount so that if Washington were to match it they wouldnt be able to afford the Dman they so desperately say they need. Win-Win

Do you think anyone is offering a Jt Miller tho? That's a 25/50 P player, a 2nd rd pick, and a promising LHD in Graves.. that's a lot. way more than Stepan returned.

I think the Isles were probably offering Hamonic and that didn't get it done, which is exactly what they were looking for. Avs wanted Barzal as well.

Right. So he has been in the doghouse of every coach that he has had. It's becoming a pattern. There are other, better options that are without the risk and/or possible head aches. He was taken 3rd overall but in a lousy draft, especially for forwards. It's not a bet that I would make.

would never happen, but they have 19M to sign Kuz, Burakovsky, replace or sign Williams, replace or re sign Shattenkirk, replace or re sign Alzner, sign Orlov. Yikes.

You would open the door to other GMs offer sheeting our guys as well then.
