What has been stopping this kid? I have only watched him a limited amount but he has shown some very nice skills.

1 - he's slow
2 - consistency
3 - team is stacked and he's down in the pecking order

Stepan + Raanta + 2nd '18 + Prospect

Essentially you're going from Stepan to RNH ... I'd rather not. I think we can do better.

Yes that's with Klein retiring and about 8M for Zibanejad (long term) and Fast combined.

I just know Rangers have a ton of cap space and not MANY glaring holes (One they can't do anything about, that elite 1C).. but they can do something about a Top RHD.. We'll see what they do, will be interesting.

He is slow? A few seasons ago I was impressed how fast he carried the mail from defense to offense. Did he get injured or something?
