Just get me TROUBA.

send out 2 of our wingers to recoup assets needed for him. Deal Zucc get back picks prospects build a package of that plus miller for Hanifin, or go directly to Winnipeg. Can we pry Theodore from vegas?

a top 4 of

Mcdonagh Trouba
Skeji DeAngelo

is very good imo well balanced all can skate 3 out of 4 are two way defenceman and the last one hopefully is the offensive dman we have been lacking, the last pair we have beargloves, Pionk, Day, Graves, Zboro.

The picks we made in the first round i think was smart with petterson and glass off the board. They were safe but both players have high floors and play complete 200ft games and have high hockey IQ and can both skate well, we dont need to have a team having mental breakdowns in our zone and late in the game we already have a team full of those.

Next season deal Nash at the deadline for a first and take best offers on Grabner and Holden. we should net at minimum a first, second, and a third. Go for pure skill there in a better draft, and knowning we have 200ft guys already in the system.

This is Trouba, not Erik Karlsson.

I'd do McDonagh for Trouba straight up.

so we're sending out 3 wingers (2 for Trouba) and Zucc to get back assets just to get Trouba? geezus. who plays offense?

The love for Trouba on this board is insane, can he at least prove he's worth giving up 3 players for before you do it?

no we send out 2 wingers example was zucc and miller, we can sign wingers such as Williams, dadonov etc

Incredibly insanse but thankfully you have zero say

Not sure how it's "incredibly insane" when we get five years younger while still getting a top pairing defenseman but ok.

At least I'm not advocating signing 37 year old Joe Thornton

I would love a top 4 of

Karlsson-Subban
McD-Doughty

It's not going to happen.

It's interesting that none of the NYRs have said anything on social media RE Stepan.

I wonder if there is tension about more deals occurring.

I have no idea what this team is doing going forward. Their best asset is probably the amount of cap space. It makes no sense to sign Shattenkirk with the hole they have at top 6 center. But, moving Stepan a year early rather than a year late was a prudent move. Rebuild on the fly? If you were so determined to get Glass or Pettersson, then you should have made McDonagh or Zucc available for the 3OA. If the idea is to move away from the last core group, then Nash, Zucc, McDonagh, Grabner and Holden should be out the door, and with the ridiculous amount of cap space left, you buy out Staal. If Henke doesn't like it, you tell him to pick which franchise he'd like to go to. This is limbo, and past day or so has diminished my confidence in this group.

From Pagnotta- Kings continue to search hard for a top-line winger. Their goal is to bring one in soon, preferably a LW.

Nash to LA. What were those months of scouting Ontario for last spring?

Is the third overall pick really enough for McDonagh in this draft? I think your negativity is premature. It's June 24th, plenty of time to trade any one or number of those players. July 1st will be a big indicator of the direction this team is going.

Laugh all you want but there is great logic to bringing him. What are you seriously *****ing about? Who is in the pipeline that he is blocking? You talk like theres some magical trade to bring in a 22-24 year old center ready to play in the top 6. Thornton would be a stopgap until Andersson and Chyil are ready.

But go ahead give Mac away for Trouba. Because thats not laughable at all...

"Give away"? Are you serious? You're acting like Trouba is some throwaway player.

Dallas wanted Top 4 Dman. They had 2 #1's and other assets. If the idea is to break up the core, there you go. Again, where are we headed from here?

A one year stop gap then throw all the space at Tavares ? It's not a bad idea

if Tavares hits FA.. which I very much doubt.. but it would give the Rangers another year to find someone.

maybe if Dallas tanks next season again, they'll blow it up and start over and move Seguin?.. doubtful, but you never know.'

Honestly i wouldn't move McD for the #3. Top Dmen like him have a premium paid for them. See Larsson/Hall trade.

It would have to be a MacKinnon for McD type swap. No picks unless it's,the #1 OA next season.

I don't know why people are laughing so much at Thornton, sure he's old...

I guarantee providing he's ready to start the season he would equal or have more points than Stepan did this past season for us.. He's also a much better face off guy, he's pretty tough to play against, and his possession numbers exceed Stepan's.. so...

He saw his point total drop dramatically from 2015-16 to 16-17. Guaranteeing anything with him is a bit aggressive.

He won't be ready to start the season anyway so its a moot point.
