Brooks has said in two articles in the last week that the Flames and Jets have called the Rangers about him. A bidding war between two division rivals is good news for the Rangers.

Calgary has #16

The Rangers can trade up to #16 with the #21 and Raanta.

Raanta straight up for #43 from Winnipeg is a fair deal.

There is no reason to trade Raanta before the expansion draft.
