Amazing how we went from discussing Miller and Skjei for Trouba during last season to giving a 1B Center, a Solid backup who can start, a 2nd round pick, and a big prospect defenseman who has top 4 upside.

I am not sure that is an overpayment at all. Sanguinetti and Gilroy were top four guys who were supposed to be on this blue line right now. Prospects aren't guaranteed and Graves supposedly needs more work on his skating. I have a feeling he is another D that AV won't like if he is still here. Funny bc AV loved Staal. Anyway, this team has to do something. If you are gonna sit here and do nothing then you might as well rebuild this thing.
