2 years less than stud Barclay Goodrow & about 2M more AAV
Absolutely pathetic asset management.
Absolutely pathetic asset management.
Frustrating part is we will never know. If that’s the case then I can’t defend drury at all on that trade. I was thinking Buch was asking for 6 plus aavHe probably would’ve taken less than even that to stay where he liked
FML I WOULD’VE DONE THIS
He’s been spamming that quote repeatedly for weeks nowAgain, this opinion will change by game 6 where you'll want to trade both of them
U mean 2.2 million more aav right?2 years less than stud Barclay Goodrow & about 2M less AAV
Absolutely pathetic asset management.
Yea I edited that meant more lolU mean 2.2 million more aav right?
Different players but can’t argue with u!Yea I edited that meant more lol
The gap between Buch & Goodrow is way more than 2.2M, especially given that ridiculous term.
If they’re looking to win in the playoffs theyd be wise to have a more skilled center group than that imoEveryone keeps talking about Vegas trading for Eichel now or that we can move Strome there. I would not be shocked if they just sign Danault to play that 2C role with Karlsson and Stephenson in more offensive type roles. You want to talk about a fit. He can just play with Stone and have one of the best shutdown lines in the league all while being above average offensively.
Pretty muchThe Buch contract is reasonable but there was no place for the Rangers to play him, unless you think tying up $12m in 3rd line wingers is a good idea.
Never understood that make the phone call and tell it the to the player before the media doesMcPhee is so classy!
Danault is a defensive center, 3rd liner. Not worth the $ he is asking because of his limited offensive contributions and it would just add to a extremely tight cap in years 3 and 4. If we were a defensive team who lacks offensive ability than yeah, but adding a player that doesn't fit the makeup at such a high price makes no sense.
Zib/Strome/Chytil- I se no problem in maintaining.
We would be much better off forcing Kreider out & giving up picks/prospects, whatever, to move that contractThe Buch contract is reasonable but there was no place for the Rangers to play him, unless you think tying up $12m in 3rd line wingers is a good idea.
Pretty much
it sucks but you can’t pay a guy that much to play on the third line, especially considering they’re already doing that with Kreider
