If your Seattle how do you turn down a Strome and Chytll for Gourde maybe a pick? They drafted no offense really.

If you have Zib Danault and Gourde down the middle you don't need an Eichel type.

I think we are giving up way to much. Nils and a 2nd for Larkin. Then deal Strome to get a 2nd and a prospect.

Id love to get away with sending them Jones and our 1st this year since with the addition of Larkin i do believe he is literally like adding that 1st round pick to this lineup that is already an established 1st line center that is 24.

If Nils and Kravtsov are off the table for Eichel then they sure as hell are off the table for Larkin.

Find a way to get a center in the '22 draft. Your cornerstones are like 23, 21, 20, and 19. Stop worrying about winning a Cup in the next two years and try to win 3 of them in the next ten instead.

Danault to me is the exact opposite player to Strome. In fact, they’d make a terrific 2C-3C punch because they are perfect complements to each other. A defensive center and an offensive center. But both probably too pricey… if they could be melded into one player, that player would be AWESOME.

That player would be like Jonathan Toews.

Three teams have moved on from Donato in pretty short time, while he posted ok numbers. Is he still worth a look?

I mean at this stage you need to consider where his roster spot is. There aren’t really any open spots right now except maybe on the 4th line, if we assume that Rangers want a vet in there instead of Barron. Might be able to get away with it if you are moving Chytil to wing but if the Rangers want more of a grinder I would more so look Ritchie or Khaira there. Donate might need to be on a scoring line.

As much as I would like a player like Danault the term def scares me. For me unless we're trading for a C I'd rather move Strome to another team and roll the dice with adding someone like Granlund/Wennberg for a year two. Hell maybe even Kreji if for some reason he doens't re-sign in Boston. Then give Chytil a real chance to take the 2C spot with some actual PP time while having a safety net there if he falters. Plus if the season doesn't make it to the playoffs at least we'll have a shot at Wright, Lambert , Geekie or Savoie.

That guy was the focus of Lundell level obsession around here.

This is the problem with any concept involving acquiring Landeskog. If we could pay him something that works for us, he'd have already signed for that in Colorado.

Do you remember what our fans were willing to give up for Honka? I sure do.

That guy was the focus of Lundell level obsession around here.

Oh no. Lundell hasn't even scratched the surface compared to what we saw with Honka. Every post of every thread was about Honka. Then the fanbase shifted to Trouba and when we finally got him, they realized he wasn't what they thought.
