Better than signing Danault for 6x6 or I guess we can role with Strome for another year and deal with the 2c/3c next year
Who knows maybe Gallant could elevate Chytil's game.

Danault is looking for something like $6M per. The Rangers have $6M for a checking center?
The issue with swimming through content here is that a fair amount of HF minds would support DeAngelo and Virtanen, it’s just a video game world.
Anyone who wants Virtanen is an idiot for multiple reasons. This organization just bought out a player who had locker room issues, now you wanna bring in a guy who allegedly raped a woman? Seriously? And number 2, Virtanen sucks.
I'm afraid they're going to "he has chemistry with Panarin" themselves into a contract extension.I'm kinda expecting Strome to still be the 2C at this point when the season starts..
Makar just got 9 he can take 9 as well. To remain home and play for the team he loves. I’m sure he will
I think he can and Chytil still has promise no doubt but if we all want Strome gone we need another center and at decent costWho knows maybe Gallant could elevate Chytil's game.

True and Fox does some things better than Makar can’t go wrong with either so around same deal makes senseHoping for even less.
Fox's skating is a tad bit weaker than Makar's.

Yes. Yes we do.
Promoting Chytil or trading Chytil for a 2c is an option. And they should do one or the other.well at this point they dont have many options.
Makar also took 6 years. I'm pretty sure both Fox and the Rangers are looking for max term, 8 years. That drives up the AAV.Makar just got 9 he can take 9 as well. To remain home and play for the team he loves. I’m sure he will
You should be worriedWould love Danault just worried about those last couple years on his contract assuming he gets 6
I think people love the idea of what he is rather than you know…what he actually is. He’s not this magical two-way player that people think he is, and if he didn’t ride shotgun to Tkachuk and Marner in London, he wouldn’t even be half as relevant as he is today.Dvorak again?
I have never seen this board so obsessed with such an irrelevant player.
Man that hurts. I would like some names of who would be coming back to fill that 2c slot preferable cost controlled and early to mid 20sPromoting Chytil or trading Chytil for a 2c is an option. And they should do one or the other.
No. No we don't. 9 mil for 7-8 years would be fair.
Chytil is a 2C who's cost controlled and in his early the mid 20's. If you want somebody better, you pay $6+ for it.Man that hurts. I would like some names of who would be coming back to fill that 2c slot preferable cost controlled and early to mid 20s

There's no rush. What's the rush, why not see how Chytil performs under Gallant's system, and then look to the trade deadline if need be.
And we can't do that. That is my point. We can not sign a 29/30 year old center 6X6.Chytil is a 2C who's cost controlled and in his early the mid 20's. If you want somebody better, you pay $6+ for it.
We're always after imaginary players.
