i move jones well before robinson. people dont want to face the fact you NEED size on the backend in the playoffs. it is just the way it is and this team is not going to make deep runs with fox, jones, and nils taking up three spots no matter how great they may play in the reg season. the playoffs are ALWAYS a grind game the further you go into the battles.

oh for sure, but we do have Trouba, Miller and then Schneider soon for that, could also pick up someone like McNabb in a trade, but yeah I'd move Jones first.

Well I think there is some formula that if you play for the super anemic Yotes every point you tally you actually multiply by 1.3845 so 40 points is actually 56 for a young center on good deal. Not bad.

That’s just the Coyotes Coefficient, they’ve published papers about that

The timing on Eichel seems to be now or never, no? Mika is tied directly to Eichel bc I can’t see them paying both. So you really need to decide now. You can’t play the waiting game with Buffalo into next offseason, unless you want to risk Chytil being your 1C

I think with the Sabres demands for Eichel that the Rangers have already moved on.

We literally just got rid of a locker room cancer who was also extremely talented.

Virtanen is an allged rapist who has severe legal issues he is dealing with. And even if we go ahead and ignore that, he has a history of showing up out of shape, underproducing and caring more about his off-ice lifestyle than his NHL career.

The Rangers fired their president and GM because our team last year didn't have enough charachter. We've brought in two stanely cup winning, gritty players and are very likely going to sign respected vets once FA opens. Bringing in a human like Virtanen goes against literally everything this team is doing.

The yotes own five 2nd round picks in 2022. Cash flow issues currently. It's intriguing but I would really like to know what happens to Strome. And if Chytil isn't in our plans as a top 6 center, they need to move on.

I don't understand the logic of having Mika, Dvorak, Chytil if Mika, Strome, Chytil didn't provide enough grit, defense and diversity.

A lot of you folks need to get your head wrapped around the fact that Fox is not going to give us this huge discount in dollars. Yes, he wants to be a Ranger, that means he will probably agree to 8 years. That also means a big AAV.

I can't see him getting under double digits. No way.

If I’m Drury I go get Dvorak ASAP. He’s very cheap for the next 4 seasons. Is only 25 years old, very good 200 ft center, and has untapped offensive potential. Because of that, the price for him wouldn’t be thru the roof. Having him and Chytil as 2-3 options gives us a little more insulation against Zibbys outrageous demands.
You get DVO fast, and keep working the phones for Eichel and hopefully Adams comes down a bit and you can meet somewhere in the middle. At that point if we get him, Zibby will surely waive to go to a Vegas contender type team with the intentions on them resigning him.

This idea about Virtanen is nuts. He’ll be 25 when the season starts and he’s never lived up to his promise. The allegations against him are not a good look either. I wouldn’t go near him with a million foot pole.

The insinuation that if we had signed Virtanen we wouldn’t have had to trade Buch is silly. The Rangers moved on from Buch because of other big contracts coming our way in the next few years and we couldn’t afford giving Pavel $6-$6.5 mil for 5,6,7 years. I get it that it that he’s an excellent player and it sucks but…..this is a flat cap world right now and there’s only so much money to go around and that includes looking down the line for Fox, Lafreniere and Kakko.
