It's major CopeFunny seeing Habs fans coming out of the woodwork trying to defend Newhook saying he has much more potential than Colton who is a bottom 6er. Like that's exactly what we needed

I figured he was a PKer but with the gluttony of those types of forwards Tampa has no wonder he didn't at the NHL level.High 3s to low 4s is my guess... somewhere around 3-5 years. He has not been used in a PK role in Tampa... he did coming up into the NHL, but hasn't been his role in the NHL. Hard to say there. He has the tools for it though.
They have a few aces in PEB, Killorn and Cirelli that they leaned on heavily. Then some rotation of guys there. Just was never a role Colton could have done much there. It is an unknown, but I think he'll be fine if he has to.I figured he was a PKer but with the gluttony of those types of forwards Tampa has no wonder he didn't at the NHL level.
He will have to learn here.
And also at the deadline the price was a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and a prospect rounders for 1 Tanner JeannotI take back all the bad things I said about CMac.
Dude decided to skip last years TDL since he knew Nuke was going down a questionable path and Landy was done for the season, so he could save all the fleecing for the off-season.
But you just know Tampa is drafting another Brayden Point with that 37th pick.
It's okay our amateur scouting is garbage, massive steal for usYou know what pisses me off?
I like Colton a lot. I like this trade.

yeah but they had like 6 centers, iirc. he's a natural center.Didnt Colton play LW for the Bolts?
I've seen a fair amount of playoff games with them the past few years but it seems like they have so many guys playing similar roles that I can't separate the bottom six guys unless they are huge and look like Mr. Bean. I am watching video and yes I remember this guy, he's a burr in the saddle. He actually might be a little bit of a Calvert, huh? They have a few aces in PEB, Killorn and Cirelli that they leaned on heavily. Then some rotation of guys there. Mix of center and wing in 20-21, Center in 21-22 until Paul came in and then spot duty, mostly wing last season except when Cirelli was out and in spot duty.Didnt Colton play LW for the Bolts?
Sakic is pulling all the strings!CMac going full goblin mode? More likely than you'd think
Although #79 is no match for 69 I think its a cool number. I remember liking it when Yashin wore it with the Islanders.Has anyone worn #79 in Avs history? Not that I want him to wear #79, cause that's a weird f***ing number choice. I'd much rather he wear something like #85 or #68
