Agreed. Except... he had "found" it prior to the Olympics. Hopefully this is the start of him doing that again. The pure reaction save with 30 seconds to go was a thing of beauty - could be a real jumping off point.

BTW, I absolutely LOVE Biron as a commentator. Can we have him on every broadcast?

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Lundqvist has to get used to the angles on NHL ice again.

I am so happy we won the game. I am very concerned that Lundqvist isn't on the top of his game. He is fighting it & has been all year.

Agreed he's fighting it right now, but Lundqvist was great for those couple of months going into the Olympic Break. The Olympics obviously broke his groove. He desperately needs to get it back.

If this team can get rolling, they can have 3 lines that can score and a great 4th line. Boyle/Moore can be excellent roll players.

Great game and to get a win in regulation after that PS was big. Another shorty was huge and Hank only 1GA besides that Penalty Shot.

In regards to Moore you get a guy like him for the playoffs. Through out his career he has been a very sought after player at the deadline. Boyle has shown he can play very well in the playoffs & at times has been our best player in the playoffs.

But, one thing at a time, let's not get too far ahead of ourselves we still have a long way to go.

Zuke should play on the first Powerplay-line with MSL. Together with McDonagh.

This team outshot the opposition by a near 2:1 ratio this game. If this game doesn't please the fans, nothing will.

The team has been playing excellently since the break. I truly believe they're a legitimate contender for the Stanley Cup, provided they don't get key injuries.

Even though Stepan scored, he was utter **** on that PP. So ******* lazy, doesn't move around at all.

If the Rangers play like this on Sunday, they will lose.

One of my biggest complaints about him besides faceoffs. He's a Class A Offender of not moving his feet on the powerplay. Always stays stationary and it's one of the things that kills our powerplay usually.

Scared the crap out of me there, but getting the W in the end.

3 stars for me were:
- Derek Stepan
- Martin St. Louis
- Rick Nash

HM: Kevin Klein, Anton Stralman, Mats Zuccarello

I'd just like to rant real quick. Anton Stralman needs to be resigned. I know it has been mentioned before, but he's just too much of a force for us. Day in and day out logging nearly 20 minutes a night as a top 4 defenseman and even though he hasn't put up a lot of points he's all around getting the job done. He took a stinger today blocking a shot on the foot. He's been physical when need be and is very good offensively. The only lapse today was the hook for the Skinner penalty shot, but that's a penalty you have to take. He's been amazing since he signed that redemption deal and deserves another contract.

Also might I say Kreider was the only one who had a minus and had 9:45 TOI. He needs to pick it up a bit.

...nope.

The Rangers did not generate many quality chances at all. "Did you watch the game?" :shakehead

lol

There's a difference between being a pessimist and flat out ************. Didn't get any quality chances? Seriously? I'll give you two on the same play - Hagelin getting robbed twice on the two on one.
