What are you angry about exactly?
Not angry at all. Just elaborating on the distrust of media 'sources' and their drive to be first to report.

If I'm looking for accurate news, I've never looked to TMZ to provide me something reliable. Maybe I'm wrong when it comes to celebrity deaths--I don't exactly have a significant sample to pick from.

That being said, this is unimportant. RIP to all those involved.

The report was accurate though, unfortunately.

From my experience with celebrity deaths in particular they've been very accurate.

I seriously just heard of this minutes ago and I'm stunned. At first I thought it was his entire family.

Kobe took the torch from Jordan until LeBron was officially ready. Even if his play in '04 did help the Pistons win a title. But the main reason why that team lost was because the Pistons were deeper, better coached and hungrier.

Winning a few more titles later that decade helped his reputation for sure to shed any selfish label.

I know how LA must be feeling. Sometimes guys can transcend their sport in their city. In Montreal Maurice Richard had a huge public funeral along the streets of the city but at least had gone on to live a long life.

As a huge fan, well, I don’t even know what to say. Not every day that your favorite player who you watched as a kid through your teenage years and to being an adult dies way too soon in a helicopter crash.

This is terrible.

The coach for South Carolina women's basketball is on ESPN 2 talking with the broadcasters now. Everyone will talk about his NBA work as they should but he was just a brilliant ambassador for both men's...and Women's basketball too. I remember being on ESPN.com a few days ago and there was a link: "Kobe thinks Della Donne, other WNBA stars can play in the NBA without question". He was a great cheerleader for the game overall, regardless of gender.

When it comes to stuff such as this TMZ is close to 100% accurate as you can get. People can say what they want about them but they have continued to be proven right.

Kobe was a big part of my childhood even though I'm a Bulls fan. Growing up in LA he was a legend here. Kobe will live forever in my heart. RIP

The entire Los Angeles county needs to shut its streets down, and make everyone use Public Transportation regarding the funeral. Imagine losing Gretzky to this horrific ordeal? Edmonton would have that up and running in a quick of a snap
