We've only had those games against good teams (Vegas, Rangers).

If we play as well as we did against Toronto and Boston, we'll win against Philly 99% of the time.

I mean more "playing well" in general instead of the individual game itself.

Like the Habs game. Didn't play well, but that was a very winnable game against a bad opponent.

I'm going to dwell on the past and say that we should be 10-5. The Sabres & Islanders teams are ones we needed to win. Imagine needing 2 wins to solidify a post season spot and be down a few points. I'm going to look back on those 2 games against weak teams and say it'll come bite us back dans nos graines.

Literally every team has those. I'm more pressed about the Vegas and Colorado games, especially Vegas, considering those losses were very avoidable.

We didn't show up vs. Buffalo just like Toronto didn't show up vs. us. You can't really say we should have won that game. We did have no excuse to suck so badly vs. NYI, and we really fumbled vs. Vegas. Hopefully they learned to show up and not fumble. It's ok to take these losses as long as we are learning and growing from them. Blowing those games only to continue to make these mistakes is where it gets frustrating. Sens played great last game and they need to be consistent

Islanders game was exactly like that too and that's what we're concerned about tonight.
Yes, and there were other "kinds or flavours of losses” against teams like Montreal & Sabres. I’m not sure how we should feel better for those losses against divisional rivals who are below us in the standings.

Flyers and Torts teams always play tough, Ottawa going to have to be patient. But flyers have weaknesses and Sens exploit weakness, i expect the Sens will feast on Michkov

Ersson's not playing? Even better, let's whoop some Philly ass tonight
Someone in the chat of Coming In Hot podcast today said he injured something in practice. I just hope the Sens don't take this game lightly thinking they can score at will against this goalie. Philly has an amazing PK stat. I'm sure Torts is working on having that extend to their D coverage as well.

Except they didn't play well against Buffalo and Montreal. We should not feel good about those losses.

Listening to CJ you realize what leader Ullmark is in the dressing room, when he said “I don’t know where my game is” seems like that was as much a challenge to the his team as it was to himself - he wanted to get his game going but he could t until the guys in front of him committed to their game.

Two games later he’s getting a shutout.

Yes I agree, and that’s what I meant when I said “other kinds or flavours of losses”.
