Ironic that Krieder is being the one praised now. 8 months ago 50% of this board wanted Kreider gone and many claimed Nash would score 40 goals.

Fans, like the media, have an unalterable "what have you done for me lately" mentality.

You are right. In fact this boards like after Gabs 2nd season when he did poorly. Many wanted Gabs traded at that point and then he had a great 3rd season. I'd be open to trading Nash. I hoping since said that he will score 5 tonight. :)

That makes two of us!

If it makes you two feel any better, Nash has never failed in that scenario. I will go ahead and predict Nash with the game tying goal along with a great setup for the GWG tonight. Hell, he even may take the Rangers to the SCF, but as a "CBJ fan"; dont be surprised by a colossal/epic failure in the end!

His failed clear during the PK had me screaming at the television, but at least he's hitting hard out there. I wish he played this physically all the time.

I almost threw the remote at the TV.

Nash is on my last nerve with this team, especially when you see all of the team rallying around MSL and the effort level has clearly reason to where it should have been all year. Then you see Nash and he is still just loafing around the ice. Unreal.

I can see puck luck being against Nash, that's fine, but wtf is going on when Brass if getting goal after goal crashing the net with his 120 pound ass while Nash is lobbing 20mph shots from the boards over and over.

Maybe he should spend his off days with a psychiatrist? It's getting to the point of ridiculous now.

Humongous Big game 7 on tap...we really need something out of Nash in this one. Not asking for a hat trick, but a single goal would be nice.

He made up for it though, got the block on the attempt immediately after the turnover. I too yelled at the tv though

Yea, most people seem to forget the diving play he made immediately after flubbing the clearing attempt. There are a few games where he's been absolutely terrible (game 6 in round one... though who wasn't?), but I think overall Nash has been playing well during the playoffs. Do you pay 7.8m to finish checks, penalty kill, etc.? Well, that's another story... Was hoping he'd get an empty netter just so he'd have a tally. Fingers crossed he scores a huge one on Tuesday and that gets him going for the rest of the run.

I don't want to get ahead of myself but there is a strong possibility that we reach the Conference Finals without Rick Nash scoring a goal.

If he scores a goal that helps us advance, everything will be forgotten.

Nah, actually it won't. Well, perhaps if it's an overtime goal.

But it would be a nice starting point.

I give Nash a pass for his poor play if he shows up for game 7 and gets a game or 2 and we win... Until game 1 of the ECF

I'd say he gets a fresh start for these playoffs if he scores the important goal to advance. People will hardly talk about what was before but how clutch he was. If he vanishes in the ECF again though, that one goal will be forgotten fast...
