Well, when they are claiming that Vancouver is a nightlife haven compared to the dredges of Winnipeg, Buffalo and Atlanta (one is clearly out of place), they sort of deserve to get raked over the coals.

He claims Kane has yet to play somewhere fun, yet mentions Vancouver as an answer (so it clearly can't be about the on-ice aspect of the franchises).

We don't need a goalie. Problem with trading sbisa is that we then need to ensure Biega gets 19 games this year for expansion, otherwise we are giving away a good defenseman for free.

Murray has already stated he isn't giving up long term pieces for short term band-aids.

Edler is not what this club needs. They need players on ELC's, prospects and picks, not 30Yr old + defensemen. Especially when adding Carrier and our 2017 1st onto it.

I see your point. But Edler is a borderline top pairing D signed for 3 more years. He isn't exactly young but he won't even be 35 at the end of the 3 years. Not a geezer either.

You could interpret the trade as "for now and the future" if Murray's looking 2/3 years down the road and not necessarily 5/10.
