Wouldn't offer much more than a 2nd and a meh prospect for Kane at this point. Vancouver would be his fourth team and he's supposedly had issues with all of them. There comes a point where you have to start looking at the player.

Saad >>>>> Hutton

No reason for Columbus to ever consider such a poor offer.

Obviously Vancouver adds. But Hutton's value is not as low as you think. He may be playing out of his depth right now, but he is still a #5 Dman on pretty much any team with the potential to be a 3/4. Top 4 D always have more value than top 6 forwards. Saad is da really good and still young player. But do not discount Huttons value as being nothing.

3rd team. Atl and Wpg are the same team, just because the team relocated doesn't mean it has a negative impact on a player like you suggest.

You know that 2nd rounder is gonna be in play. I would be shocked if the Canucks still have their own 2nd round pick left after trade-deadline. Gotta follow the tradition.

You clearly know nothing about Atlanta and its nightlife reputation. But fine, Vancouver has world class nightlife.....

Also, great work grouping it in with Winnipeg and Buffalo.

What an odd thing to ridicule someone over...

If they trade Virtanen for Kane I will be Jim Benning and Trevor Linden's worst ****ing nightmare

A trade for Kane would prove the rumor that ownership is still telling TL/JB what to do and how to do their jobs. FA might as well just make himself the GM of this team since he knows so much about building a good hockey team.

Just trade him.

He has to be one of the most frustrating players in the league.

Hutton or Virtanen as key pieces in anew exchange for Kane is the last thing we should be considering. He's paid fairly, but we can't fit his contract under the cap. His off ice issues are well-documented and frankly we've lost control of many players here. Finally with Kane one our roster, assuming we don't trade a piece of our roster for him...is that worth it? We have 20 goal scorers, we have offensively talented guys, and yet we still suck out loud. Only a fool would think Kane and Kane alone would or could fix that.

or he randomly had a great season last year and is no where close to as good as we think.

kane on the other hand is waiting to play somewhere fun no offence to buffalo and winnipeg and atlanta

I bet it'd be quite fun playing for a team on the downswing of things. How many games did they lose in a row this season, like 9? Going to Vancouver is likely no more appealing to most hockey players than Winnipeg, the weather there sucks. But hey, maybe he enjoys the clubs more? Idk. I can't speak on that part I was younger when I lived in Vancouver.

I hope to god Kane doesn't go to Vancouver. If anywhere I'd like him to go at this point it's really the AHL.

But really if any NHL team, Arizona, Carolina or Florida.
