To those responsible for today's puzzle, I would like you to know, that I took this personally, and also a very sincere

My whiff was Harry Howell, who I remembered as an obscure Norris winner from another recent puzzle, and considering the era he played in, I was very certain he played less than 1000 games.... he did not, he played over 1400, over 20 seasons!

Some of the European names will have special characters / different spelling and it seemingly uses EliteProspects as the source. If you search for "Jonas R" it looks like he'd show up. I had that issue when the game first started and it wasn't returning Sergei Zholtok, but later I learned they had him as Sergejs Zoltoks.
