8/9 for me. Just for clarification, the drafted in 2nd round or later square had to be by that team. I wasn't sure if it meant that the 2nd round+ just played for the team.

8/9, 177 uniqueness...

I tried to think of an answer other than Esposito, Bourque, Oates or Thornton for the
Boston/800+ assists square. I went with Leetch, which turned out to be incorrect (he finished with 781 assists). Went with Gilmour for Toronto/800 + assists, which is a 49% answer :DD.

Another sleep-derived train wreck, oh well...

Tried Andreychuk for BOS, but he was 102 assists short, then Ron Ellis for some reason for TOR, he was nowhere close :biglaugh:

Jeremy Roenick for 500 PIMS / 800 assists, but he was short on the assists as well, by 97. And finally, Marcus Ragnarsson for SJS/800 PIMS, who got... 482 :pullhair:

Not my day, clearly...

VERY good score considering these categories... I thought, until I realized that I was mis-reading "Stanley Cup Winner" as "Stanley Cup Winning Goalie", and the blurb for the box says "must have won with team and be engraved on the Stanley Cup"! :skeptic: (so what I'm saying is, I thought I was literally being limited to only Giguere or Bryzgalov!)

Bah, 8/9 for me. I tried to go too obscure on the Ducks+Cup square. A long time ago, I was reading a book on Stanley Cup teams that my buddy had. The chapter on the 2007 Ducks had some quotes from Brian Burke about how he wanted to make them tougher (when he took over in 2005) and he was proud that one of his first trades was getting Todd Fedoruk. I incorrectly assumed Fedoruk was on the 2007 team but nope.

July 29, 2005: Traded by the Philadelphia Flyers to the Anaheim Ducks for 2nd round draft pick in 2005 (later traded to Phoenix - Phoenix selected Pier-Olivier Pelletier).

November 13, 2006: Traded by the Anaheim Ducks to the Philadelphia Flyers for 4th round draft pick in 2007 (Justin Vaive).

For such a heroic figure, I figured Yvon Corriveau was less of a role player... :skeptic:

Also, Shean Donovan, career high: 18 goals! :pullhair:

Well, I knew this was a wasted effort after one pick (3% on Cousineau, of all players! :biglaugh:)

Ummmmm... someone want to explain why Varlamov is showing up on the stats as valid for Leafs/Islanders goalie??? :amazed: (Edit: Ok, Van Biesbrouck showing up for Panthers/Canucks tells me it works even if they never played for the team, just owned their rights at some point, but that still doesn't answer my Varlamov concerns...)

Newer franchises + goalie stats = :help::eyeroll:

Bryz was straight up wrong for ANA (topped out at 13 wins, could have sworn he was the starter for a stretch of one of their best seasons... :squint:)

Fwiw, it does state that in the label on the box you enter your answer in. Though most people miss it once lol.

Also this is one of the differences between Puckdoku and crossovergrid. On Puckdoku, a draft-position crossed with a team means “player drafted by that team in the specific pick range, and played at least 1 nhl game anywhere”. Iginla would count for 1st-Dallas and not 1st-Calgary. On crossovergrid a draft-position crossed with a team means “player drafted by any team in that pick range, and played at least one game for the specified team”. Iginla would count for the 1st-Calgary and NOT 1st-Dallas.

Awww, I had Doug Harvey on my list, but went with Morenz, would have got a 0 thanks to Red Kelly (that was a shot in the dark too!)

Ugh, haaaaate medal categories, I really, really don't have perfect memory of medal-winning rosters, even if I watched those teams play...

X Czerkawski (thought he was a member of CZE '98 medal winner, but he is actually Polish! :biglaugh:)

X Nedved (same, thought '98 gold medal CZE team, but it looks like he was injured in the '98 season, or maybe something to do with how he sometimes represented Canada instead? I feel like that was a thing...)

X Sami Kapanen (a little late for the '06 FIN silver medalists, I guess? Feels like he should have made that team though...)

 Shows what I know best...

X Alexander Perezhogin (remembered him taking a lot of penalties in his few seasons with MTL... topped out at 48 :pullhair::pullhair::cry:)

X Frank Musil (didn't play enough games with EDM, got 34, in just 39 games! :banghead:)

X Tom Kurvers (misremembered the kind of player he was, evidently... never topped 50 in his whole career, let alone with TOR! :help:)

Interestingly, for the Oilers you could have gotten a sub 1% answer by selecting none other than Wayne Gretzky.
