I can say that I've seen Vegas fans rail on players for taking stupid penalties more than any other fanbase. Judging by comments here, it seems like it's Vegas gooning it up on Flariduh and the Cats are innocent angels just trying to play hockey. My fave was "Tkachuk could have been injured!"
Yeah, I don’t think Hill’s whack was anything more than that. Nobody getting hurt there.

Considering the semi embellishment performance he gave while he was trying to draw the penalty that started the whole thing, stick in the air, fumbling around in the cage, staring at the ref looking for an arm to go up or a whistle, I'm surprised he didn't faceplant into the ice after Hill made contact.
are you even able to see the game with those black and gold glasses on?

For real.

Bennett performed a full on RKO on Knies who didn’t even have the puck, concussed him and took him out of the series and didn’t even get a minor.

Panthers fans crying about the refs is hilarious
This is a freaking hilarious description of the play.

Aren't posters in here admitting that the Panthers didn't get called much even though they have played over the line quite a bit when it comes to the physical stuff? Maybe it's not a good look to complain when that gravy train comes to a stop.

Most have no problem with deserved penalties being called, just hold each team to the same standard. One shouldn’t seem to get more leeway than the other when it comes to physical plays.
(This is not about the after whistle crap)

how does Vegas stop playing to jump Tkachuk after a clean hit on Eichel and not get penalized for it?
pietroangelo breaking sticks over people goes uncalled
call it both ways, or let them play

this. If a soft slash by Lomberg is a penalty, so is the cross check that sends Tkachuk into the net. This isn't complicated. It's either all a penalty or none of it is. Can't play by two different rule books.

Careful.

You sound like a Leaf fan talking like this....

If the players are going to run around intentionally stirring up shit, there’s no reason they shouldn’t get tossed for 10.
Sure there is you just need raisins and in this case it the finals. You should be allowed to be a blockhead and not suffer any punishment. ( this post may not represent the opinion of this or other posters)

Not at all. At most, it was a slash. A traditonal spear is taking the stick and jabbing it in a forward motion into the opponent. Hill swings around to make contact with Tkachuk with the flat part of the goalie stick.

I saw it clearly as the point of his blade being directed at Tkachuks midsection - a spear.
