Got a question about guns. I haven't purchased any weapons, expect the free one from saving the guy early on, should I or just swap them out for ones I find? I have one pistol, a sawed off shotgun, dual pump action shotgun, a repeater and another rifle with a scope. Sometimes I feel like if I don't dead eye kill someone I have to shoot them several times. Also if you don't clean them often how badly does it effect your shooting?

You will find guns all over the place, don't buy them.

I think I may have broken a game mechanic, but I'm not sure yet...

I was repeatedly trying to rob an illicit business, but i was failing to get away before being forced to kill a lawman and rack up a huge bounty. So I just kept re-loading my game and trying again and again to rob the back-room. Well, eventually I went to try to do this and I was no longer able to "discover" the illicit business and force the store owner to open the back door.

I'll have to find another store like this outside of Valentine and see if it re-prompts me to do this.

I’m hooked on this game in the worst way. Carved this pumpkin last night and I’m trying to convince my girlfriend to buy me a cowboy hat for my birthday.

finally got through the hour tutorial at the beginning of the game. Have put in maybe an hour into the Valentine area.

So far I have to say I really enjoy the new game play aspect of the camp.

The world is vibrant and alive. I like how you can interact with everyone you come across.

Biggest downside for me would be the item wheel. as others have mentioned it is very annoying/difficult at times to get a gun out when you need it quickly.

Also love the camera they give you, with the detailed and amazing environment they created you can take some pretty sweet photos. And the characters just fit like a glove in campfire photos. ...... yes lame I know but I do a lot of photography in real life so I got a kick out of how good this aspect is.

I found and broke the Arabian horse. My victory was short lived due to a wolf attack moments later. During the fight the horse ran off and I cannot find the damn thing. That area of the man actually hurts my eyes, so I don't think I'll be looking for it again. Shame.

That happened to me too. It's honestly not worth it as you have precious little time to loot the place proper before the law turns up.

I agree with you entirely here. This game has so many picture-esque moments. My girlfriend was getting so annoyed because as I'm riding through the wilderness I am repeatedly saying "Wow, look at this!" every 15 seconds because of just how beautiful some of the sights are.

Just a heads up- If you press L1 quick it will bring up whatever gun you have equipped. I always have my rifle ready to draw if shit gets real .

Does it? Can you set this? Every time I equip lets say a Shotgun, I feel like when I go to use it I always default back to the revolver and I always have to go back to the weapon wheel to switch. Gets annoying.

I've never had a problem with it, honestly.

Hmmm maybe I’m doing something wrong then.
The issue comes whenever you start riding your horse. You can choose your default side-arm but it seems like when you're riding around on your horse and jump off, a lot of the time you have to pull your weapons back off of the horse. This has happened to me a lot on hunting trips where I forget to pull the bow out of the horse. Sometimes it switches sometimes it doesn't. I'm not 100% sure on how this exactly works.

really though? Im about 3hours and a bit in and haven't come across any bugs or glitches. what should I be expecting?
Nothing really. Maybe the odd horse glitch out but I am just starting chapter 3 and I can't really remember one glitch. And I am playing on a base PS4 from launch.

Ah you’re right it’s definitely the horse stuff that seems to reset everything. Just a hassle to deal with I suppose. Maybe there will be patches or something.
