I'm probably forgetting a ton of guys but when was the last time the same organization had two D prospects of this calibre come in at (roughly) the same time?

Right out of the lockout, Keith and Seabrook came in for Chicago and then Suter and Weber for Nashville, those are gonna be hard to top. Any more recent ones come to mind? Not comparing the players, just the situation of two A prospects on D coming into a team's (probably) top-4 roughly the same time.

The best I can think of is 2013 the Wild had Dumba and Brodin come in both drafted top 10.

Before concussion issues, the tandem of Bowen Byram and Cale Makar seemed pretty good.

Sproul/Ouellet lol.

I can’t remember back that far, but I don’t remember Keith/Seabrook or Weber/Suter having the hype that Seider, and to a lesser extent, Edvinsson have.

That’s not to say they’ll be as good over their careers, just saying I don’t remember them being as hyped.

End of the day, Nashville is still king for drafting and developing defenders.

Seabrook had a lot of hype. Keith much less so and pretty much came out of nowhere. I remember his rookie season he was continuously bashed by Hawks fans saying he was garbage

Byram+Makar, Jones+Werenski, but in terms of size+complete package these 2 have it's been a while. Probably Weber+Suter.

Best defense pair since this legendary duo.
