Well the Cup would be nice, but we already accomplished what we REALLY set out to do.

Mitchell tried to hit him while going into the corner hard, Kreider preemptively gave him a hard shoulder and tossed him like a ragdoll. Gudbranson took exception and gave him a few hard crosschecks. On another shift, when Kreider had the opportunity, he hit Gudbranson a bit late with a bit of a slewfoot thrown in. It was kind of a cheap play, clearly a response to getting crosschecked.
This sent Gudbranson (and all the Kreider haters) into a frenzy.
I don't think plays like what Kreider made have a place in hockey, but the Panthers' coach had to swap in another defenseman or Gudbranson would have taken a penalty, he was so angry with Kreider.
If Kreider had done that without the slewfoot, I would have been all for it. But he didn't...he has to be careful, or he'll get suspended for something like that. Not to mention seriously hurt someone.
Why?! Honestly the Rangers have won one cup in 75 years. They're having a good season. No reason to be obnoxious to other teams' fans. Honestly, Rangers fans are starting to get a bad reputation and I can see why. We haven't earned the right to talk. It's like the ****ing Jets talking because they lost two championship games.
I don't think Kreider is an intentionally dirty player but sometimes he's borderline. Needs to stop that. We know that next time he gets thrown out of a game we won't see him for 20 games (because he'll stop playing his game, not due to a suspension).

I love those fans in Florida, and if there's one regret it's that they have to get sucked into this. Most fanbases have given us all the reason in the world to be obnoxious.

What do you mean starting to get a bad reputation? Bad reputations are from jealousy, to be quite honest. They can't say we suck anymore and make it stick so they have to resort to this childish garbage. That's the real truth there.

What I posted was true.
Also, not particularly concerned with my/our reputation with a bunch of people I don't know on HF. I'm extremely polite, friendly and helpful to everyone on HF. However, when people start dumb threads on the main board, I'm happy to go mix it up.
