Scheiffele, Brassard, Schenn, Kadri, Koivu, Couture, Granlund, Niederreiter. They all developed at the age of 20. None of them even played in the NHL in their D+2 season, but sure. Lias won't develop anymore

There isn't a player that was picked after him in that first round that's made any kind of difference at the NHL level yet. He just turned 20... there's going to be growing pains.
I'm not the biggest fan of Andersson, but adjusting to the NHL is no joke. I understand getting on him for crappy plays, but let's stop acting like we passed on some sure fire pick to get him

That is exactly how a good coach should act towards a young player. Tell him what he did wrong and put him right back in.

I agree for the most part. Do we really think Lias or Howden can reach Hayes’ level? Hayes is the best out of those 3, and will have a better career than the other 2, in my opinion.
But to be fair, we didn’t get back Lias. We got back a 7th overall pick. If we chose pretty much anyone else, the trade would have been a home run. And ADA is a very good player. Remember when most people wrote him off last season? He’s gotten to a level that most thought he wouldn’t come close to.
