I want this team to win, but if they have to lose, I would rather them lose in regulation. An OT/SO loss feels just as bad, if not worse, than a regulation loss. Morale will drop either way.

The thing to keep in mind is that all teams have streaks in them. The Rangers more than likely had theirs early when a softer schedule combined with being at home for the majority of the run allowed them to go 9-1-1. The schedule gets much harder as the season moves on.
