I don't think its a coaching thing.
It's really, really hard to give a **** when you're comfortable.
Chytil has had a pretty good period.
i honestly don't even think its close. interesting one was 21 and the other 7th pick. The 2017 draft is gonna be known for a lot of guys that went 20-31 and maybe not as much the higher guysChytil has looked a lot better than Andersson tonight.
Herb Brooks
Lias' younger brother looks exactly like William Nylander.
So would I. I'm fine with Andersson.
But if we're rebuilding for this "elite talent" binge like everyone is saying, I'd like to swing for the fences a lot more in 2018.
The Rangers have a long-standing tradition of reaches and safe picks. They also have a long-standing tradition of good but not great forwards. There's causation there.

Okay. Which Rangers coach was a really good one?
How about a coach of any team?
The only one you have ever praised here was Sutter, who won twice with the best team.
Caps doing nothing and just letting us skate around.
I'll never understand why coaches stop playing with a lead. I feel like it's not something that actually works, but rather a tradition that nobody bothers to question.
They know that they have this one in the bag. Why expend unnecessary energy? Put it on cruise control until we get "dangerously" close. It's like the schoolyard bully holding a small kid at arm's length while the kid is desperately flailing away.
He was drafted with the hope he'd be NHL ready this season, remember? There's a trade off with that.
