Good point and Blais again was one of the very few who looked half alive thru 2

Energy lines often get poo poo on for being called that or constructed by the GM for that purpose but in our case, it's evident that when the big boys aren't going and they're just being kept to the outside by a defense protecting the lead, these players keep things moving in the right direction. We're thin on depth with injuries right now but I bet with more talent on the 3rd and 4th line when 24 and 16 return, the energy line can make an impact in dead games that we would have lost without a fight in the last 3 years.

It's funny that for 2 years people claimed panarin was inflating Strome's numbers, but eventually the question will have to be asked if strome is enhancing the numbers of the nyr version of panarin. It sounds outrageous but...
Lmao no way. Panarin is 10X the player Stromer is. Strome is a decent 20-20 guy

Apologies, don’t know that reference and I know I should have watched such a popular movie by now.
What I will say is that I’ve meet people who carry that look and they are the most unpredictable of humans Very unnerving.
You're making me feel old

Nothing to do with the fact that Price has an extremely extensive injury history and Murray has been injured often as well. Almost like these goaltenders are getting hurt and Kreider who has played net front for the last 10 years have been around for a few of those.
Murray was on my fantasy team and he got injured so I dropped him and now he’s injured again. He’s made of paper.

If Shesterkin is the Audi sports performance player of the year so far and Fox the Mercedes Benz uncompromised luxury skater of the year than I think Trouba deserves some credit as the PT Cruiser I can't believe this thing can go past 50mph defenseman of the year for his chaotic but somehow crucial plays. Saved a goal in OT against TOR, saved a goal I believe in Nashville late and pinched on the GWG tonight.

It is mind boggling if they think the first goal/Murray getting hurt is even remotely his fault. And the hit on Norris was a penalty but to call it vicious or dirty is another joke.

Ain't that the truth. Such a joke to blame Kreider on the Murray injury. He was just doing his job on the PP in the front of the net as usual. Murray pushes forward and his head hits Kreider's knee and Kreider was trying to avoid Murray. Just a dumb take if they thought that was intentional.

This team is so weird, they obviously look a click off and aren’t in sync when it comes to timing. That being said, the positioning is really good, and you can tell that their structure is much better getting up ice. I still don’t like their offensive gameplan since a lot of players aren’t engaging in cycles or engaged in switches, but I do think there’s a lot more potential for this team once they’re healthy and understand the system more.

I’m excited to see where they are in January

I believe we’re going to find out one day that Panarin has been playing hurt since training camp. If I recall he only played in one preseason game (would appreciate a fact check).
Next game keep an eye on his left hand/wrist and how he grips his stick when passing.

I mean again I would point out that he started last year pretty badly as well and that was with Strome

I think it's just a slow start. Team is also starting to look tired being on the road like this

Tonight, I’ll be using the tears from Ottawa fans as my lubrication.

This is what I have to say.

lol, Chris Kreider is continuing to work his way towards a high point scoring season. The guy is still great at his game. He's definitely one of the best players in the league when it comes to scoring goals down low around the net. His size, strength and instincts will continue to let him excel at this aspect of hockey. Criticize him all you want but he's definitely scoring 25 goals this season.
