There is something very major to be said about a team finding ways to win when they’re banged up, not playing their best, stars struggling, new coach and players and so on.

I see people on Twitter saying stuff like “you can be happy they’re winning but upset at how they’re playing” which, sure of course, but that’s removing all of the context around this last stretch. Missing 1/3 of their top 6, Greg McKegg in the lineup, Hunt on PP2, Panarin not himself.

If the team is finding ways to win when they’re not at their best, that is an encouraging sign to me not discouraging.
This.

The mark of a good team is finding ways to win games like these and those against Nashville and Toronto and not finding ways to lose like all of Quinn's teams would have done.

Hopefully this silences the Kreider haters, involved in all 3 goals. But it won’t. Don’t have anything else to say right now.
Kreider has 5-7 games a year he singlehandedly carries. This was one of them. I enjoyed it but it underscores how glaring the no shows can be.

Stutzle was diving all day and I'm glad it basically cost them the game

Would have been interesting to see what would have happened if they just called him for the first one like they should have. Does he smarten up for the rest of the game and therefore the Sens end up on the PP late instead of 4v4?
Another example of 'game management' isn't the right approach; just call what happens when it happens, because things change too much to worry about evening it up later

Pretty amusing that Stutzle was embellishing all game and wasn't getting called, and the one time he doesn't embellish, he gets called for it.

It's funny that for 2 years people claimed panarin was inflating Strome's numbers, but eventually the question will have to be asked if strome is enhancing the numbers of the nyr version of panarin. It sounds outrageous but...

lol the whole team struggles
you could put the q as "does Strome enhance all the teammates' numbers" then

Ha eh, panarin just looks like he is trying to force his cross ice pass give and go game with everyone he plays with but it only primarily works with strome. It pisses me off that they play well together.

If you folks want a laugh go over to the sens board. Don't even post there, just count the number of posts blaming the refs or ranting about Kreider
