Easily one of my favorite Rangers from the very beginning.

6th round pick that can play in every situation and always sets the standard for hustle on this team.

I wish his goal production could be a bit better...but then he would be a much more expensive player too.

Excellent Deal in terms of both cap and term. Another Guy that want's to be a Ranger. Keep it Rolling JG.
 
I never understood how people wanted him off the team before last season began. Glad he wasn't taken by Vegas, like the contract. Think there might still be a little more offense to him, but at this point probably not much.

We should try him now and then on the powerplay. He's the best tipper of pucks on the team and might grab some of those dirty goals everyone likes.

We could take those minutes away from Nash who is legitimately one of the worst powerplay players in the league.

Nash is also one of the best even strength players in the league. So what do we do? Give him 2nd/3rd line minutes at ES and feed him PP minutes through a tube.

Watch Jesper end up playing like a decade here and go mostly unnoticed.

I love how he elevates his game in the playoffs. One of the few who always steps it up that time of year.

Wish the deal was longer as well.

So what number will he wear now? Does he buy Puempel a watch for #12 :laugh:?
 
Excellent contract, he's easily a 3rd liner in the NHL, having him on our 4th most of the time is such a luxury.
 
he's the real reason Derek Stepan scored that OT goal vs Washington. won that faceoff back to the point.

that's how you know he's worth every penny. he's the ultimate support character.

Here's one that makes a lot more conventional sense
 
This is great, Fast is one of my favorite players. He doesn't take a night off and pretty much always makes the smart unheralded play. He's not spectacular in any sense of the word but when you watch a game at least a few times you will say," wow that was a really good play" in relation to Fast.
