Solid contract. Fast is definitely an unsung hero for the Rangers.

I'd like to see him be more aggressive on loose pucks on the PK but it's the offseason so I'm not gonna think about that.

His ability to really play on any line and not look out of place is huge espsecially in the playoffs when there's injuries or matchup issues.


Jesper is all effort all the time. He's like a Swedish Ryan Callahan without the PP time. I will always have room on my roster for Jesper Fast.

What exactly does the whole "multiple lines" thing mean? Whenever he played on the top line with Stepan the line was atrocious. He can play on the 4th line and the 3rd line. If he's on the 1st or 2nd line there is a problem.

I'd venture to say Fast is the most underrated player on the team. Glad he's locked up at a relatively cheap price.
