Sorry guys. Honestly came in here to see what the report on Nash was until this numb nut clearly started spitting out of his ass.

I'd think it was moreso you guys being a tired group after a rough and physical affair with the Kings. Hope Nash isn't out long term since I have Stepan on my pool and they're on the same line. It looked dirty that's for sure. Was team toughness an issue for you guys last year as well? Didn't get a chance to focus you guys as much as I wanted too.

In English, hyperboles and analogies are often used in conjunction to illustrate a point, as it is the purpose of using them in the first place. The fact that you still can't get over the literal $100,000 detail proves that you're still stuck on the literal.

In no way did I say that sarcastically btw.....I can't stand posters like the one you've dealt with. I'm sure he understood the analogy quite well ( which was a valid one IMO ) but just wants to break your balls over how large 100,000 dollars is in the literal sense. I'm sure he can understand the analogy of the feeling involved behind someone winning a lawsuit over you for that amount of money who then after comes over to pat you on the back and how it relates to other fans in this forum coming here saying " hey guys don't get down on your team "....maybe in his mind if you used a smaller number he could relate but the literal shouldn't be the issue...bravo

Hawks fan here, my sympathies for the score last night. This might be just what the Rangers needed though.

I'm not going to belabor the point by droning, but personally I fully expect Stuart to be suspended and I'm honestly close to done with him anyway. Hannan has been better. I really hope Nash is okay, he's one of the more exciting players to watch in the game.

I usually watch reruns of the games in the morning, but this game was so late that no on-demand feed had been perpared when I woke up. I pulled up nhl.com on the phone and slowely scrolled down, saw that we scored two, and then that SJ scored 0, awsome!, oh wait, what 9? 999999999999999999999?

Lets just laugh slash cry this one off. It would have been easier if Nash wasn't hurt, but there is not much to do about that now...

We are going to have issues this season, lets just face it. We might look superb when everything is working and then we might fall apart when we don't take the lead, or as in this case, unfortunately gives up a lead.

No defense, Hank is a disaster. And Brad Richard is the silver lining.
Maybe this is the window to trade Richards and sign Hank?

He was a slighly better than average goalie in the league under Renney. And Renney too played a defensive system, just not anything like ol Torts

You would think the love-affair with Torts would be over, but some of the posters on our board still can't get over it. Go root for the Canucks. Leave.

I wasn't saying we did well. We did terrible, but that's a given. We also got production from our bottom line and a power play goal. Those are both positives. Therefore, it could've been worse. Only point I was making.

A lot of funky things happen in the first month of the season. It sucks to lose those two points, but everyone in the league is going to have a stinker in the season.

If the Rangers still play poorly in December, then you'll have to start to wonder. But we're nowhere near that yet.
