Even though they won two presidents trophies and reached game 7 of the cup finals with the guy he's obviously terrible.

i can list the numerous choke jobs the canucks have done under his tenure as well, but we'll let you guys experience it first hand.

Most nucks fan will tell you replace AV with any other coach, and he would have done the same because of the great talent and depth the canucks had.

Which is why you don't see Nucks fan gloat about two presidents trophies. Those are meaningless regular season trophies. Nucks fan still thirsty for that stanley cup.

Don't dwell on it. We've had our share of blowouts under AV as well. He's still a great coach and with more time to for everyone to get used to each other I'm sure the Rangers will be right back in as a solid contender.

Getting spanked is a good thing sometimes. Whatever it was tonight, it didn't happen because the sharks are a 9-2 team. We have a formidable defense, a great goaltender and maybe even 2. What happened happened for a reason and to fix our problems is the priority under a new coach.

I just find it interesting that we're bludgeoned by a team that is perennially excellent on FO's, and we were just about even with them in that department.

Except for Stepan who won 2 of 16 faceoffs.

I wish it hadn't been the Sharks. If I rank my least favorite teams the Sharks, Ducks, Devils and Habs are all at the very, very bottom (yes, I know I have a Subban avatar... what can I say? I've always been a fan of mobile, physical d-men with flash). It was almost entertaining since, I mean, when am I gonna see 9 goals (well, 11 total), but I just wish it hadn't been a team I loathe. Though it was fun to see Hertl put on a show after all the hype I've heard about him. He hasn't been a Shark long enough for me to hate yet.

Nightmare. I live walking distance from the Shark tank and had to miss the game (new baby). First time I have missed the Rangers in SJ and I picked a good one. Wow, I can't believe the effort and lack of accountability- alarming!

The kid Hertl was in alone on all four goals. That was just ugly...

First Ranger game in attendance in 2 years...what an unforgettable game that was.

Henrik looked super uncomfortable out there but the whole team was a disaster.

Thankfully Shark fans are pretty friendly, if that was Philly or NJ it would have been absolute hell.

I'd like to apologies on behalf of my fan base, I know I'd be pissed off if a fan of another team trolled our board after such a rough night. You guys have a good team and a good coach you'll bounce back

Shark fan- read thru your thread.. My thoughts:

Short handed goal stung, Sharks were fresh and rested, Rangers had no legs after the start of period 2 imo. Expected a tighter game to be honest.. Just a freak game from a goals allowed perspective. Have yet to see a replay of Nash, Stuart getting a Shanny Call??
Good luck this year, see you guys at the Garden :yo:

Also, how and when did Nash get hurt? It took me until mid 2nd period to realize he wasn't on the bench. I was too concerned with the endless Ranger penalty kill that was tonight's game.

Saw the first period and went back to sleep. Not a bad choice. The bad choice was waking up for this mother****ing game in the first place.

Do folks think there will be a hearing for the hit on Nash? Seemed to me like a headshot.

I hope Nash is better. It's unfortunate that the one time our player injures an opposing player, the injured player is never an LA King.

I like Nash and hope he doesn't have a concussion. Sorry for all the trolling this game caused.

I think we'll see something tomorrow regarding its investigation

Stuart seemed to leave his feet slightly, but I don't know if it's enough to take him on that. The elbow to the head on the other hand though. That's a whole other story. I would be really pissed if we don't se a Shannahan video today/tommorow (depending on where in the world you live).

For those who haven't seen it the video is posted on nhl.com.

I just hope that Nash won't miss any games. I fear a concussion, but I hope they were just being careful with him last night.
