I want to say there was a season in the late 90's-early 00's during the 7 year playoff drought where Dolan said he'd lower the ticket prices 10% if they didn't make the playoffs that season. They didn't and he lowered the prices.

Maybe one of the other old-timers can help me confirm that. Too many years of too many beers to have that info handy.

Yep. My greens in 312 were $40. Next season... $36.

The handful of times I've sat in the Delta club the food has been ready when the doors open 60 minutes prior to Faceoff. Usually from 6-6:15ish a lot of the players are running around down there playing soccer as well.

Cool thanks

I think the days of owning season tix might be a thing of the past. So much supply out there. Fees are insane. Can get games cheaper than face few days before or day of. This may be my last year. I only attend maybe 10 games a year. May make more sense to own seasons if you attend most if not all games. I only hold on for playoff rights
If you trying to sell games on sites like stubhub, ticketdisaster, or even on here, it is pretty much a lost cause, imo. Buyers are simply willing to wait until 6:55 to buy tickets, and it is not just for the Rangers. I have Giants seasons, and tailgate with a big group. Every game so far, there has a been a group of 20somethings monitoring stubhub, ticketexchange, etc for tix. They buy the parking pass, tailgate and wait til about 12:30 to buy tix as they walk to the gates. Need to have a group of people you count on to take 5 games or so from you. I have 3 guys who took 5-8. Keep about 15-20 for myself (5 with wife, 5 with my brother, 1 with other brother, 4-7 with different friends and 2 with my daughter). This year, even sold 13 games for the guy who sits to my right. Been doing it this way for years. Have had full seasons since 1998 and have eaten only 5 tickets. 1 because my friend got sick at work, by the time he called me was too late. Went solo. He offered to give me the money for the ticket and I declined. 2 because I was sick and it was before the days I could email to someone. 2 because of the blizzard right after Xmas in 2010. Game they tuned up the Isles. Didn't want to drive into the city and express bus never came.

Happened after lockout. At end of 2002-03 season Dolan announced prices were staying same for following year. Also guaranteed play-offs for 2003-04 and if they didnt make it he would lower prices for the next year. Well, they didn't and he lowered for 2005-06. Well, when they did make the play-offs in 2005-06, the following year they were raised. Went from 25 each to 22.50 each to 26 each, then I believe 30 each. This was in the old 420.

For the Giants/Jets, it really depends on seat location. For upper bowl I think you’re right that you’re kind of screwed if you need to get rid of tickets. There’s so much supply that sellers are getting nowhere near what they paid. For lower bowl though I think the market is pretty stable. I have aisle seats in 135 and demand in the market is there. There are enough out of town fans who would prefer sitting lower rather than saving a few bucks and sitting up higher.

I listed my two tickets for tomorrow's game from my MSG/Ticketmaster account, it says the tickets are listed, I got the confirmation email - but when I got to the NHL Exchange on Ticketmaster to try and buy tickets, my seats aren't showing up as available. Now I'm super worried that my listing isn't actually live. Is anyone else having this problem?

EDIT: Nevermind, you have to go into the filters and select "Verified Resale". Mine was off by default, I hope that's not the case for everyone.

That is the default for all.

Also under filters “show price with fees” is off.

I turn them both on when I check my posted tickets. I usually go to single game ticket sales to check.

Just like you didn't notice at first, many people buying don't notice they need to do that. It gives the arena an edge to sell their tickets before resellers. If you think about it, there is no other reason to have that filter set, as the tickets are fully controlled by ticketmaster regardless. Sneaky little move.

What’s the bag policy like this year? I know it changed last year due to Covid.. I’ll be coming from work and will have my laptop with me. Thanks in advance.

This is what they sent out prior to games.

Bags must fit comfortably under your seat, and oversized bags larger than 22” x 14” x 9” are prohibited.

I truly wonder how many industries will require everyone to go back full time. I'm sure the big finance firms likely will but beyond that I would wager that most companies will stick with a hybrid model.
My boomer law firm (where people were typically out of the office 3-4 days a week PRE pandemic) has been "back to the office" mode since June 2020

Going back to my original report my company has told us its is "strongly encouraged" to come in two times a week starting in 2021.

At this point I come in regularly so it doesn't impact me but we hired a ton of remote people who are scrambling now to figure out where they're going to go if the position isn't 100% remote.

How do you handle listing tickets on multiple websites? I had my tickets listed on both Stubhub and Ticketmaster, this morning my tickets sold on both websites within 1 minute of each other. Is this a scam? I have been having trouble selling on the ticket exchange site the past few weeks.

Skybox is the best tool to use for cross selling across vivid, and stubhub. The barrier to entry is a lot but overall its a great tool.

Yes, as stated above, if you want to post on multiple sites you need to use a service like Skybox that will track your tickets and remove duplicate inventory once they sell. I used it for a couple seasons but found it to be a hassle. That said, I agree that ticketmaster sales have been pretty meh lately.

I have a bunch of season tickets and I use TicketNetwork. It list on the network itself, stub hub, seat geek, TickPick, Ticketmaster, game time, ticket evolution and vivid Once is sells it pulls listing for all sites. I have had one double sale once because someone bought on stub hub and less then 1 minute later bought on vivid.

Is the Concessions or Merchandise Credit, a use once credit or can you use partial and then use the remaining balance another time(s)? Also can you use the credit with the 20% off concession discount for being a season ticket holder or can you only use one?

FYI
Was just looking at some games I have posted and comparing to other ticket prices in my area.

Using the Kings game on 1/24 as an example, looks like NYR dropped their prices to below some Season Ticket prices.
With the fees charged no way we're breaking even or close to it to compare with their prices now.

Tickets in 225 for example from NYR are listed at $103 on the aisle and $98 off the aisle.
My STH price was $107 for that game off the aisle 2 seats away from the above examples.

I’m going to a concert in a few weeks and was wondering the same. Did it come with free food? I assumed it didn’t but wasn’t entirely sure.

Check to see what your variable price is. I'm also in 225 and everything in my price category is generally $80. My average price per game is $89 but my variable price for that game is $66 so it's actually still a fair amount above face value.

Actually called my rep and asked, he told me there would be food which ended up being false. Was directed to the chase lounge which had a nice little selection of finger food snacks and beverages that got the job done.
