Jones had no points today but his team advances to the semifinal.
Looks like he’ll be gone by the time the Rangers draft.
Sure would be nice but the Rangers are starting to get it together so unless Quinn was the problem, I think they might fall into the 10-14 range.NYR can still easily end up w top ~8 pick.
Only 4 teams way under .500,
then Devs at 4 under,
all else -2 or better.

I don't think this is entirely correct as an observation. The games I've seen Jones play, he's got an intelligence to his game and vision that Sjkei has never possessed. Sjkei has always been a guy with some great tools -- size, speed, reach. But his outlet passes, his decision making meant he needed to develop more of a stay at home style. But he couldn't wrap his brain around that while with NYR.
Jones is a much headier player. A player who sees the game well. I don't think he is as good as Fox and he might never be more than a bottom pairing PP specialist. Or an AHL all-star. But his game is far different than Sjkei's ever was.
A better comparable to Brady Sjkei is K'Andre Miller. Miller has even more tools than Sjkei but the jury is still out on whether he can clean up his game enough to become a stalwart. Their development trajectory is much much similar.
I feel like early on Miller looked like a much intelligent player than he has lately. I felt like his intelligence was a strength, now it looks like a weakness. I guess he's a rookie it happens.
Fox’s head is always in the game. He’s almost always in the right place and almost always does the right thing. He’s not a physical player but his positioning of body and stick make him a very effective defender and in a way he reminds me of Nicklas Lidstrom. His hockey sense is outstanding.

They're still hoping to come back, but last I heard they still couldn't get provincial approval on a plan and with each passing week it looks less and less likely they'll be able to get in the 24-game season they want.Sorry if this has been discussed already... but it’s late March- is Vierling going to play this season or is this a lost year?

Henriksson was the 4C, had 1 SOG and was -1.
Själin had an assist and 2 PIM in 14 minutes.
Nothing for Lundkvist, who took a cross-check call and a misconduct.
In that same game Luleå shelled Linköping and Ollas came in during the second, stopping 10/11 in his second SHL appearance.
CSKA won Game 7 of their semifinal series to make it to the West Finals, but Rykov didn't play. He's been a 7th D all playoffs long basically.
I hope so. He’s certainly one Of the more interesting prospects we have on talent alone. Hope he develops into a stealThey're still hoping to come back, but last I heard they still couldn't get provincial approval on a plan and with each passing week it looks less and less likely they'll be able to get in the 24-game season they want.
